Note to Josh.
I’ve had to repost two responses to Barton that somehow were mysteriously deleted.
I’ll gladly leave the forum if censorship is now the norm.

Note to Ward:

a) You still can't read. I commented about that earlier.

b) You are a lying, deceitful ass. If you would like to use my alleged deletions of your posts as a reason to leave, I will not stand in your way.

c) I have been deleting posts here for several years, now, Ward. We've discussed it. Are you only just noticing it? Or is it that you only object when it is you (allegedly) on the receiving end of it?

d) I've noticed at least four of your posts disappearing, not just two. I've noticed a few others' as well, including a couple of mine, as I already said.

but (e) It's not as if the posts that I saw and then didn't see had substance to them. One LOL, a couple in which somebody rightly points out that you are lying about what they said, as you did with me yesterday, and your then claiming that they are lying about what you said or what they said, instead.

If only your standards were as high for your own actions and discourse as they are for others.

I will continue to see if I can figure out what the problem is, but you do as you see fit, either way.

Red is against poster suppression!

He may connect the dots and eventually see the danger in voter suppression.

maybe,

probably not

Red-Josh posted earlier that there was a glitch, a virus perhaps, and a few posts disappeared. there was no censorship nor malice.

but those few problem posts within a couple of days are going to be down to close to zero.

I never accused you of anything.
Least of all deleting posts you didn’t agree with.God knows we don’t agree on much but I have never seen my posts deleted before.

This format was very effective. Very intimate. The party talked directly to the people at home and not the true believers in the arena.

Less talking head time  and much more direct engagement.

I liked this a lot.

Fuck them. Jump in the lifeboat or go down with the sinking ship. They’re welcome to get in the boat but I’m not gonna beg them to save their own ass.

Based on your deep understanding of the mind of independents, no doubt.

Seen any post-event polling, yet, Ward?

Its amazing how flimsy and deformed the idiot can be who leads Red around on his pretty red maga leash, getting him to roll over, play dead, and rub his nose in all kind of shit the whole time.

Editorial: We all saw this coming
clusterfuck (n) : a complex and utterly disordered and mismanaged situation

The print headline was "We have a Clusterfuck."

UNC Chapel Hill, after two weeks, has shifted to all virtual courses.

Quote
The administration continues to prove they have no shame, and the bar for basic decency keeps getting lower.

They chose to ignore the Orange County Health Department, which recommended that the University restrict on-campus housing to at-risk students and implement online-only instruction for the first five weeks of the semester. They chose to ignore the guidance of the CDC, which placed the University’s housing plan in the "highest-risk" category.

Even faculty — though many of them continued to teach classes in-person — saw it coming.

Now, as we prepare for a second week of classes, many questions remain unanswered. What factors will trigger the so-called off-ramps, and what will they look like? How many positive cases will it take for the University to realize the danger they’ve put us in?

Particularly concerning is the fact that the University has refused to disclose any additional information, including the official number of positive cases, citing the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

But, don't we have a right to know? There is a significant difference between five positive cases and, say, 20 — and the potential for exposure extends far beyond those identified through contact tracing. Furthermore, many have expressed doubt as to whether FERPA actually prevents the University from disclosing case numbers. According to guidelines from the U.S. Department of Education, schools may release information regarding COVID-19 as long as “a student’s identity is not personally identifiable.”

But it certainly wouldn’t be the first time that UNC has used FERPA as an excuse to withhold relevant information from the campus community. For years, UNC refused to release disciplinary records of students found responsible for sexual assault on campus. Only after a long, expensive legal battle and a ruling from the North Carolina Supreme Court did the University finally turn over the information.
