The CA fires were just on my tv news, horrible, homes lost, thousands of lightning strikes, worst fires in many years.
You would be very wise to stay home... or take shelter in the nearest town where the fires will not be coming to.

Apparently part of the deal might have been for the US to sell F35 stealth bombers to UAE.  The US was planning to retire these barely used /useful suckers, but for $100M a piece will sell them to UAE.  A real fancy toy for oil sheikhs.  And regionally impressive weapons of war.   

Netanyahu pretending(?) he knew nothing about this; his coalition partner Gantz angry he really knew nothing about this.  Netanyahu likely to publicly oppose such sale, while privately letting the US & UAE know it's fine.
Sec of Defense Mark Esper used to run Lockheed Martin's F-35 program.
So he turns a program that was going to be scrapped into one that will generate tens of millions of dollars of profit.  Nice save.

Otherwise, the UAE claims that Israel agreed not to annex WB territory, while Israel says it only agreed to a temporary halt.  Someone is lying to obtain cover so that their citizens don't get upset.

Hey Misleading Headline Police.
Here's one you seem to have missed:

What he said was it could be very dangerous if everybody wears masks and thinks that's enough and don't take other precautions.   It's a dumb and misguided approach, but Tegnell also says Swedish don't need to wear masks even on buses and other public transport.  Some people feel when they are wrong they might as well be wrong down the line.

Basically after the lockdowns, China relied almost entirely on near 100% mask usage.  And did little with regard to social distancing or handwashing.

He completely brushed off the prospect of wearing masks last month, saying, “With numbers diminishing very quickly in Sweden, we see no point in wearing a face mask in Sweden, not even on public transport.”

You don't let up on simple and effective public precautions when cases become low.  You want to end transmissions. 

Tegnell can huddle up with Trump's new medical advisor and mislead people in tandem.
