“As a healthcare professional, I can tell you without hesitation, Donald Trump’s quick action and leadership saved thousands of lives during COVID-19,” said Amy Ford, a registered nurse who was deployed to New York and Texas to fight the coronavirus.
Gee, I seem to have a different recollection ...
Of course you do.
You don't envision how it could have been worse.
It's OK. That's your role.
More KidShit.
All of us have no difficulty envision its being worse, Kid.
What you don't seem willing to admit is that what Trump did was wholly inadequate, even as it is true that he did not do nothing.
We all wanted zero deaths - especially the grandmas.
Of course that doesnt happen, even with the common flu.
Be a little more pissed at China.
How pissed off I am at China is irrelevant, Kid. They are not my government and I have even less voice with them than I do with the American government.
But since your
starting position was the absurd "You don't envision how it could have been worse," was shot down, you have now shifted to the next absurd position of "We all wanted zero deaths."
We wanted:
When Trump said he was shutting travel from China down for him to have done it rather than to have allowed 40,000 more people to come from there to the US.
When Trump allowed those 40,000 to come to the US for him to have quarantined them.
When Trump recognized that there was a problem for him to
check the national stockpile, so that if there were missing items he could get the nation's manufacturing arm started on fixing the deficiency.
When Trump realized that there were shortages, instead of stonewalling and denying, for him to (a) get working on filling them, (b) acquiring them on a national basis, and (c) distributing them on a national basis, rather than punting and leaving each state to do it on their own.
When the CDC and WHO finally confessed that we ought to be wearing masks, for him to START WEARING A MASK IN PUBLIC rather than waiting a bunch of months.
When Trump stopped being able to plan on big rallies, for him to
not take over the daily briefing for his own political purposes, but to leave it with Pence and the medical team.
When Trump realized his presence running those briefings did more harm than good for him to return it to Pence, at all, rather than discontinuing the briefings altogether.
I could go on (as you no doubt knew), but Kid?
There is so fucking much that Trump could have done to save lives that he CHOSE not to do, but you are busy playing stupid, bogus "gotcha" games instead of just acknowledging that he screwed up repeatedly.
People would have died, even if he had done everything right from the moment that we knew something was up. It would have been way fewer. 100,000-150,000 fewer than we have now.
