Will the Supreme Court grant trump work release to attend the republican national convention?

Now a suicide cluster of young people on Sydney's 'leafy north shore' of shall we say 'wealthier than the western suburbs' folk… who, seeing no future, killed themselves.

Thanks for nothing all thee alarmists.

Schoolgirls at climate change rallies in Sydney crying in the streets, worked up into a frenzy of fear for their future.
...for example.

Pogroms

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/1873-colfax-massacre-crippled-reconstruction-180958746/

Everyone should read more about the Reconstruction Era and how that led to JIm Crow and the faux bullshit about "Southern heritage".

They'd understand this country a lot more.

Recommend reading this book: Redemption: The Last Battle of the Civil War by Nicholas Lemann

Terrible massacre, terrible times.

Now Black people are being massacred in Chicago etc...by other Black people.

Don't exercise in an effort to get past your symptoms. Unlike a cold or the flu, it seems to make things potentially far worse than it would be otherwise.

Michelle Obama calls out White House's 'systemic racism' in Twitter post

Ms Obama said although she was "exhausted and frustrated" by the ongoing inequalities in the United States, demonstrations around the country against racial inequality had given her hope.

Yikes!
Hope?
IMO they've set the cause of Black people back 20 years.

"These past few months, I've been thinking a lot about what our kids are seeing every day in this country — the lack of empathy, the division stoked in times of crisis, the age-old and systemic racism that's been so prominent this summer.

#####

The view from the outside looking in...from other countries...could well be that America has always been, in essence, a harsh country for average joe to exist in. Harsh legal system, ruthless prosecutors...Innocence Project has told all.
Tough, like the wild west, where ruthless carpet baggers, conmen, gunslingers etc rule the landscape.
Deed theft in NY, murders on the streets of Chicago seemingly every other day.
No empathy, go down and you'll get walked all over...skid row in LA for example.
Many good people in America, but they don't seem to be able to solve the problems.
Seems to be that "America is a War" [think I have a video titled that].

The country wasn't/isn't so racist .....it elected BHO and his wife and children First Couple/First Family,  and set them up in the White Palace, as I seem to remember it once being called.

The universe is all about abundance, we can easily feed everyone on earth if we come from a place of abundance, instead of letting them starve as we come from a place of scarcity.

And the Great Depression was as much a state of mind as it was a reality, our economy must improve, and we must keep a healthy state of mind as we work hard in good ways to make everything better.

God wants you to have abundance, we are not meant to squalor in poverty.

And like with a company, companies need people who will come from a place of abundance and who will make things grow and prosper, not people who will downsize everything out of existence as they come from a place of scarcity.

One thing too, we need to get business loans into the hands of the business students as they graduate from business school. Donald Trump got a million dollar loan from his father after he graduated from business school, in a capitalistic society we need capital, and the graduates can create jobs as they start their companies. Trump did not go start as an apprentice and start at the bottom, he got a million dollar loan to start his business. Trump has probably never hammered a nail in his life, yet he has built buildings, and without him the buildings would not have got built. We need business loans to get into the hands of the business school graduates so they can create jobs.

And locally we have Pepperdine, where my Dad studied business, we need to make sure that the students from Pepperdine can get business loans as they graduate from Pepperdine.

With a capitalist society, we need to get capital into the hands of the people, the business leaders need business loans, and then they can create jobs and help to improve our economy.

Salute,

Tony V.

We do not want our best and brightest business school graduates to have to clean toilets for the Japanese, they do not have to start at the bottom, we need to get business loans into the hands of our business school graduates.

“Violence, as a way of achieving racial justice, is both impractical and immoral. I am not unmindful of the fact that violence often brings about momentary results. Nations have frequently won their independence in battle. But in spite of temporary victories, violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem; it merely creates new and more complicated ones. Violence is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent, rather than win his understanding: It seeks to annihilate, rather than convert.”

Martin Luther King

News Item

Trump’s approval with black voters rose nine points during the Republican National Convention, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted August 22-25.

Twenty-four percent of registered black voters, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.
That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.

God wants you to have abundance, we are not meant to squalor in poverty.

Tony, more of the world lives in squalor than not.

I am pretty sure that if God had an active preference on that score that the world would have been arranged vastly differently.

Even taking the so-called Judeo-Christian deity, our instructions about tithing for the poor are not particularly onerous.

We are encouraged, to be sure, for if we do such things we will be rewarded. But...  there are 14 Commandments listed as among The Ten Commandments (or 13 if you don't like the one about putting the stones on Mt. Gerizim). And not one of those 14 mentions the poor. Four about God. One about the Sabbath (which is Saturday, not Sunday, btw). Honor your parents. Don't murder anybody. No adultery for you, either! No stealing property. No bearing false witness. Don't covet your neighbor's house or wife, or his slaves or animals, for that matter! And put those stones where I told you to, dammit!

The poor just don't make the cut. Sure, they get mentioned a bunch of times across the hundreds of pages, but you're also warned not to wear different materials at the same time. And Heaven help you if you are left-handed!

Take care of the poor and seek to end poverty because it needs ending. Don't lean on God, who directs us to kill anybody who tries to convert us and then to destroy their village totally.

Your xenophobia is showing, Tony.

As well as your misplaced trust in those with business degrees.

Fox News: Study suggests 2020 polls may be missing 'shy' Trump voters.

Probably because they are busy looting and inciting violence, the lawless treasonous bastards.

You’re probably right about that.
