in September, Yan co-authored a pre-print research paper named "Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route." It was uploaded to the Zenodo website, an open-access repository where anyone can post their research. The paper is affiliated with the Rule of Law Society, founded by Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui. The Rule of Law Society had not previously published scientific or medical research.

Wouldn't be a surprise if this turns out to be a Bannon operation to boost Trump's reelection, with Dr. Yan getting political asylum and billionaire fugitive Guo getting enhanced protection from China.
When Bannon was arrested recently, he was on Guo's yacht.

We'll see if anyone pays attention to Dr. Yan from the second week of November on.  I doubt the Trumpeters and Bannon and Carlson have any idea if her claims have any validity.  But she's useful for now.   

The claim that not only did China modify the virus but released it intentionally seems bizarre.  Why on earth would they want to infect Chinese in central China and threaten the whole country?   The idea that a virus escaped from a lab by accident at least seems plausible.  But again, with all the coronaviruses and bat viruses out there, why would they need to modify one?  Research?

Adelson has been a huge Bibi booster for decades, running a free pro-Bibi newspaper for a long time now.

So it's the billionaire wars with Adelson trying to counter Bloomberg's spending.  Just the expected devolution of hyper-capitalist democracy.  I'm sure neither will want any favors after their man wins.  Though Adleson is smart to get his favors up front before opening the vault.
