I like Wuhan don. It rolls of the tongue, capturing his physical, financial, political, and legal corruption.

“The news media helps Trump avoid the stench of death”

The news media helps Wuhan don, but not Rasmussen.

They have him losing the EC by Crooked Hillary margins.

Here’s a video putting their state numbers on a map.

Ouch.

Hardly a ratfuckable map at all.

Yup, when trump accuses somebody of something it almost always means that he's already doing the same but worse.

And I'd use that against Trump.
During the debate, Trump is sure to bring up son Hunter and say Biden is corrupt.
If I were Biden, I'd respond:
Maybe we should listen to what Donald Trump is saying, because afterall he's an expert in corruption.  Trump University was a huge scam stealing money from people who just wanted to get an education and get ahead.  Think about how Donald Trump preyed upon these people's hopes and dreams, offering them a charade and nothing in exchange for their hard-earned money.  It wasn't a university, it was simply a con, a fraud.  It was shut down by the authorities and ordered to pay back $xxx.

Take the Trump Foundation which only existed to benefit Trump.
Or his hotel here in Washington which has been raking in money from foreign governments and lobbyists, while its owner sits in the White House.
And speaking of, Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani was raking in millions  representing horrible regimes such as Congo arguing their case to the president.  Trump's lawyer was acting as a lobbyist on behalf of foreign dictators, while Trump was president.

And there's more, way more, but I'm not going to bring in and trash his family.  I have some decency and dignity and sense of what is right.  I trust the American people can see and appreciate the difference.

Gotta bring up Rudy and maybe more of Trump's in office corruption.

http://www.salon.com/2020/10/21/mitch-mcconnell-admits-hes-blocking-coronavirus-bill--will-media-finally-stop-blaming-democrats/

The republicans were the bad guys all along.

Speaking of Barzini, Schumer and Senate Democrats going to the mattresses against McConnell, Graham and ACB.

Gonna boycott the markup and deny a quorum.

McConnell will break the rules and move it to the floor for a vote because that seat is already bought and paid for by Federalist Society donors.

That’s why the right has the media carrying their messaging water by ask8ng about ‘court packing’ because that would blow up their multi decade scheme to PACK THE FEDERAL JUDICIARY in order to lock in inequity through the courts preserving white dominance as in apartheid SA.

Also why SCOTUS upheld Alabama ban on curbside voting.

Thumbs up.   And speaking of locked in inequities...

https://apnews.com/article/election-2020-race-and-ethnicity-mississippi-voting-rights-meridian-5128c7cd5d0f01b1bc39144452b2730c

By at least one measure, it’s harder to vote in Mississippi than any other state. And despite Mississippi having the largest percentage of Black people of any state in the nation, a Jim Crow-era election law has ensured a Black person hasn’t been elected to statewide office in 130 years. After years of being shut out of state races, Democrats hope mobilizing Black voters and recruiting Black candidates can eventually give them a path back to relevance in one of the reddest of red states.

Can't think of anything more relevant right now.

Hard to believe,  I know,  but i actually came here to have a real discussion of why the USPS woukd be reducing mail security right now,  at the historical moment it is most needed.

Yes, that is hard to believe.

It's to discredit the election.

Any other ideas?

Well,  it's urban neighborhoods with a large minority population that had the most patrols by postal police.   Who were seen as providing some buffer against those messing with mailboxes.   So,  yes,  it furthers the feeling already so ingrained in those communities of "why bother to vote. "   The best thing community leaders are doing right now across America is pushing back against that why bother apathy.

Either side could steal from mailboxes, no?

Ok.  Just checking.

IBD/TIPP

Biden back to 4.2 point lead in head to head (smidge higher in 4-way)

Poll had been down to 1.8 lead for Joe before today's bounce back.

If you're paying attention,  you'll notice only one side has any motivation to steal from mailboxes in the nine urban areas the article described.   They are very strongly Democrat.

This is from a damaged laptop that happened to end up in Rudy's friend's basement?   Seriously.

BTW,  basic courtesy -- post your news source so that we can assess its reliability and accuracy?

I'll just add,  this is about optics more than probabilities of actual theft.   People are more likely to vote when they see an orderly and safe process that gives them confidence.   Removing postal police doesn't promote confidence.   That's the point.

How is a tabloid scandal rag owned by Murdochs going to broaden anyone's horizon?

Again,  laptop found in a basement of Rudy's friend?   How is that credible?   Surely,  the absurdity is why non tabloids aren't touching this nonstory.

The Washington Post is a "rag" and the New York Post is a paper to be trusted.

Interesting take.
