Any student wanting to go to college could do the "rocket science" curriculum.

No, but it is lovely that you think so, given that you couldn't do it.

"Rocket science" ...code for a curriculum that law/medicine etc students would be taught.
C grade students ilk should be able to study a curriculum they could pass and gain a high school diploma.
They should not have to study A grade subjects.

Thank god journalism is still alive.  Though not in the mainstream any more

National Review:
Senator, last week at the hearing you mentioned that you thought it was “offensive and outdated” when Amy Barrett used the [term] “sexual preference.” It turns out that Joe Biden said it in May. Ruth Bader Ginsburg said it in 2017. Some of your colleagues on the Judiciary Committee said it maybe in 2010, 2012. Do you stand by that criticism?

Mazie Hirono: Well, of course.

NR: Do you think Joe Biden should apologize for saying that in May?

Hirono: Well, look, it’s a lesson learned for all of us. But when you’re going on the Supreme Court and you’ve been a judge, as one of my judge friends said, you should know what these words mean.

NR: Should Joe Biden apologize, too, like Amy Coney Barrett did?

Hirono: Joe Biden is not up for the Supreme Court.

NR: He’s up for the presidency. So, he shouldn’t apologize?

Hirono: People will decide.

NR: You don’t want to call on him to apologize?

Hirono: Oh, stop it. The world is in flames.

The reason why Trump is going to win is because California lost over 500,000 jobs to China, and no one cared, Biden did not care, him and Obama let it happen. Trump is doing something about it.

Van Nuys lost the Chevy factory to Canada, and no one cared. Trump cares, and Trump is doing something about it.

We do not want a whole nation of people on welfare, we want a good nation with respectable jobs and unlimited opportunity.

If you are honest, and if you work hard, then you need to be able to have a good life. We do not want a whole nation with everyone poor and on welfare.

Trump will bring the jobs back to America.

And when America is running full steam, we can employ the new immigrants as fast as they arrive. Henry Ford was hiring immigrants as soon as they got off of the ships upon arrival in the USA. We can hire the Mexicans and others to plant orange trees and to pick fruit, etc, as fast as they arrive. We can create jobs for the new immigrants.

And New York City and others need to get busy financing new American businesses, and creating new jobs, etc, The Bank of New York (Mellon), and Wall Street, etc, play a huge role in creating jobs in America.

Trump will win because Americans want jobs, not welfare.

Biden and Obama just stood by while all of the jobs left the USA, and while the opportunities went away. Trump will bring the jobs back to the USA.

Trump just needs to show more love for the Mexicans, and for the immigrants. And my maid in Malibu was from El Salvador, some great people come to the USA from El Salvador.

Salute,

Tony V.

Hey, Ward can rest easy - Johns Hopkins disagrees and thinks we only had the 2nd highest.

"The daily case count on Friday hit 77,289, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. That's the second-highest number of cases reported in a single day since the pandemic began. The highest day for new infections was on July 16 with 77,362 cases."
