Republicans take Senate lead - 46-45, with 9 tossups.

This is up from 46-47, 7 tossup less than a week ago.

Newest state to tossups status is - as I projected - ARIZONA

Meanwhile, in real newspapers that contain real news,  the headline is that WH gives up on trying to slow virus's spread.   Try to imagine almost any other developed country giving up in this way.

Also,  someone sent me this...

I have asked numerous times...what else?

This as we hear for the hundredth time..

Wear mask, limit exposure to those who may have virus, keep distance, avoid larger indoor gatherings....

Neither side has a further answer.  It's a nasty virus.  And TREATMENT right now has come to the forefront even more than prevention.

I suspect FOUR of these races are pretty much locked up as Republican.

Montana, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Thus Republicans would need just 1 of the other 5 to keep control.

I suspect it will be 52-48.  Wouldn't be surprised at 51.  Nor 53 Republican victories

Most worrisome are Maine, which seems to stay steady vs Collins - and Michigan, where James likely doesn't have enough to top the pro governor masses.

And for the 200th time, we point out to you that the refusal of Trump to require masks at his rallies and of Pence to wear one consistently (a) does not encourage their followers to do so and (b) risks their aides and families, as has been demonstrated repeatedly by Trump's and Pence's teams.

Add Scott Atlas and Trump both lying about the effectiveness of masks, despite your claims to the contrary, and you have a full of shit Kid, as well as a full of shit WH.

1) That's FIVE races, not four, Kid. Learn to count.

2) Why on earth you would think NC is locked up as Republican is beyond me. SC looks pretty questionable, too.

3) You are delusional or trolling or both. Always hard to tell with you.

Kid, you asked if I thought RCP was pro-Trump.

No, I think it is pro-GOP. And I think it actively misrepresents things in Trump's favor.

Today's simple example is their having IBD/TIPP as +6 when it's 6.8, which they have averaged as 7 for years and simply being wrong on USC's, showing it as 10, not 11.

If it were one time or if the direction varied, that would be different. But it is the same each time. They also have stopped including the USC updates in their daily report, even though they include TIPP.

Bias, Kid. It is pretty easy to see.

Idiocy from Trump, et al, knows few bounds.

After Trump walked out of his interview instead of finishing it, because he didn't like being asked about his goals for the next term, Press Sec'y McEnany came in with a big book and told Stahl it was Trump's Health Plan.

Hah!

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/26/politics/donald-trump-60-minutes-book-lesley-stahl-health-care/index.html

Quote
Except it wasn't Trump's health care plan. Because that, well, doesn't exist. Instead, according to the "60 Minutes" Twitter feed, the book was "filled with executive orders and congressional initiatives, but no comprehensive healthcare plan."

Too fucking funny.

And the GOP-rats in here keep trying to sell us that Trump is competent.
