Most people think the Trump GOP has failed America with it's ineptitude handling the pandemic.

You mean most people you hang out on message boards with.

57.4% --- 538 composite of polls,  today.    Your truthophobia is worsening.

Oh, but Kid doesn't trust polls (that disagree with his beliefs)!

That was a Joe Scarborough quote from this morning.

I didn't know Joe knew you so well.

from Blue Revolution:

Quote

"The originalist requested the other originalist swear her in. If they held to originalist interpretations, she would not be allowed to be a justice, he would only be worth 3/5 of a person, and his marriage would be completely invalid.

Just remember this picture: The worst president in history watching this witless moron who replaced Thurgood Marshall,  swearing in the ultra conservative neophyte who replaced Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Two sexual predators and a handmaiden. All three are illegitimate."
Clarence Thomas is vilified for being black.
No he wasn't.
Quote
Amy Coney Barrett is vilified for being a Catholic Woman.
No she wasn't.
Quote
Therefore both are ‘ illegitimate”?
Your premises are both erroneous and therefore your conclusion is invalid.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/27/us/maine-blm-school-protest-trnd/index.html

School system told teachers and staff that they could not wear things supporting BLM.

Students protested.

Superintendent apologized and noted that they (his administration) really needs to be better educated to be able to have these discussions.

If people hate me just because I'm White...they are racist, plain and simple.
Racist they surely are.
No one hates you because you are white. Believing that they do is just easier for you than candid self-reflection.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/28/europe/coronavirus-death-rate-second-wave-lower-intl/index.html

Discussing the lower apparent death rate this time around among those who are hospitalized.

Oke has been tracking Covid-19 fatality rates along with his colleague Carl Heneghan of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and health economist Daniel Howdon. Their research shows that, at the end of June, the fatality rate was just below 3% in the UK. By August, it had dropped as low as about 0.5%. It now stands at roughly 0.75

"We think it's probably driven a lot by age, but also other factors, like treatment," Oke said.
The lower death rate isn't unique to Europe.

I agree with this.

And if the island's citizens vote for statehood, then the two political parties, both of which claim in their platforms to support PR statehood if the territory wants it, should finally act on it.

I would argue that they should act on it immediately after the election results are in, but I doubt that Trump would sign it into law.

Quote
"So the reported [case fatality rate] may be disproportionately high at the start of the pandemic but then drops later as the pandemic progresses, as we test more asymptomatic cases to 'dilute' down this apparent death rate," Tang added.

The main danger, Tang said, is that more widespread testing of the less vulnerable younger population may mask mortality rates in those who are older or have underlying conditions. "There is a risk of complacency," he said. "The elderly, and the vulnerable will still die from Covid-19 related complications ... but this may not be noticed if all age groups with COVID-19 are examined together.

No way this should still be considered a tossup.

Trump gets the 38 TX electorals and moves to 163.

10 tossups, totaling 143 remain (with Trump needing 107 of them)

Apparently, the determination of whether to allow a territory to become a state is not inherently contingent upon presidential agreement - but that is dependent upon the language of the Enabling Act or some such.
