Larry, the same applies to the problems Steven Miller is having with not being white.

And Jay Sekulow and Jared Kushner.

These motherfuckers see this pandemic as a final solution of sorts.
Would it be okay if used the same term to describe them?

Poor choice of words, Larry. Reflects the prejudice towards Jews that is found so often in the black community.

No, I don't think so. Some terms should be left to stand only within their original meaning. Like "lynching", for example. Would it be okay for someone here to say that Trump administration has been lynched by the fake news media?

Using terms in this way reduces the value of their original meaning, which I think causes more harm than it creates good.

We are free to use them, but we cannot escape the judgement that comes with those choices.
I dont entirely disagree, but both lynching and final solution have long since been used out of those contexts, even when clearly referring to that context. And lynching as that whole Ox Bow Incident context as well.

I don't know if knicks use was intentionally prejudicial, but I agree with Utley that it was a poor choice of words.

IMO "final solution" is a pretty loaded term, with its understanding generally known.

While Trump's fascination and flirting (or heavy dating) with fascism, and that he is admires authoritarian dictators, blurs the distinction between the 30's Nazi's and authoritarianism, I think equating the Nazi's long-term meticulous plan and goal for the extermination of European Jews and other peoples seen as less than human, with the Trump administration's inept response to a virus is wrong as it diminshes the pure evil of Hitler by comapring it to the greed, corruption and stupidity of Trump.

Well, I really just wanted to post the Pere Ubu clip. Which actually referred to the AC Doyle story The Final Problem. Allegedly.

MUTINY!!!

Donald Trump revved up supporters in Arizona when he dubbed Republicans officials who oppose him the “lowest form of human life.”

“A RINO might be the lowest form of human life. … They have nothing but disdain for you and your values,” he told rally-goers in Bullhead City. “They lecture you on everything.”

Disdain!! Lowest firm of life!!!

Lecture!!!

RCP's presidential average is back up to 7.7 despite their playing with numbers by rounding 5.5 down to 5 instead of up to 6 and leaving off the USC +12 from their average despite its including more recent data than a bunch of the others.

Nor have they shifted to using the 7 day, instead of 14 day, as they did once when the 7 day was far lower.

Then they round 7.7777777 down to 7.7.

I'm sure it is all coincidence because Kid is sure that they don't lean to the right (despite what independent evaluators say).

That test balloon has no air. A poor choice of words is different than a deliberate choice of words.

It has a  different set of consequences.

Then again, you don't seem to do nuance.

IBD - Biden +5
The Hill -  Biden +4
Rasmussen -  Biden +1

All you need to know

Oh - that and the 52% approval Trump is sporting from Rasmussen  (Obama was at about 46/47% this time in 2012)
