Stealing Texas?

Could be.

We're good, aren't we?

I dont think 117K votes will matter in TX anyway

kid on a philosophical basis, all partisanship aside, do you believe that all registered voters who as far as they knew exercised their franchise according to the law, should have their vote counted?

Do you see any risk(s) to a fair election or the democratic process as most of us understand it, by restricting the ability to vote or have your vote counted?

I hope you are not holding your breath.

And "all partisanship aside" is not how Kid "plays the game."

Given kid's comments, they seemed like fair and pertinent questions to ask.

Whether he answers or not is beyond my control.

I am in favor of lawful voting.

My polling place does not require ID but I show mine anyway.

Dodging the question, as expected.

That's grand, I hope we all favor lawful voting, but if you're wearing a mask, as you may be required to do in a crowded polling place, can they really know its you?

In any case I digress.

If after voting, and as far as you know you voted lawfully, you found out that your vote was not to be counted due to some factor beyond your control, would you feel cheated out of your right to vote and cheated from participating in the democratic process?

Do you think it fair or a wise course of action for a democracy to follow?

So I'm assuming it's intentional policy to keep Liz Warren and Sanders under wraps.  Bernie said something a few days ago, but Liz could be living in Venezuela for all I know.

I'm assuming they want to promote Biden's moderate nonthreatening approach.  And don't want to feed into Trump's claims of socialism.
Just being black and female makes Kamala a possible lefty despite her moderate politics.  They only seem to trust Obama as a surrogate, as he's popular, nonthreatening and harks back to the normal and competent pre-Trumpian days.

Hopefully it works, but Dems never seem to go full-throated or bring out all the armor in their big arsenal.  It's been a mostly smart but weirdly low-key Biden campaign, mostly letting Trump be Trump and profiting by his unpleasantness.

I like the attention given to MI and PA.  But seems the Dems have been light on WI.  Wonder why.  I've see Biden sitting nice in MI, but WI could be worrisome.  Maybe the Biden camp has good info.  I like the push in FLA and GA.  FL going Blue would kill off Trump.  And GA also has both Senate seats up for grabs.

I haven't heard much about AZ, IA or OH though that might just be me not really checking in on polling as I have in other election cycles.   A Blue anti-Trump wave and Biden could win all of those (maybe not OH).

Well, you could realize you voted entirely for the wrong party, fully - at which point, like Donatella Moss, you'd have to find someone from the other camp to vote your side so that they cancel  each other out.

But here's the rub -

they were counting on Trump being abrasive and disrespectful on the trail, but not persuasive and presidential.

They were QUITE mistaken.

fify.

He has never been presidential and the only people he persuades - or even tries to persuade - are those who already agree with him.

Biden has run the campaign the times call for. Trump does not give one fuck for the marks he cons:

I don't think Trump ranting that Biden will ruin the suburbs and that lawlessness and all hell will break loose is persuading anyone at all.  Rather seems like Trump is desperately peddling FEAR! where none should exist.  The thing to fear is the disease Trump avoids discussing but couldn't avoid getting.

I think Biden peeps got it right.  Trump just looks awful with these large maskless rallies where he contends Virus cases aren't increasing.  Or telling suburban women he's trying to get their husbands back to work.  There's such a thing as going too far into the Nixon playbook.  This isn't 1972.  And Fear of Biden isn't working since Biden was just in the WH for 8 years and things went pretty well, normal, non-hellish.

Really Trump has almost nothing.  He has no 2nd term agenda.  His dirty trick attacks on the Biden family fizzled.  (does anyone think that the Bidens have out-corrupted the Trumps?).  His fear-mongering isn't persuasive.  And the country went down the tubes on Trump's watch.  Ordinarily this would be a huge blowout loss.  But the hyper-partisan divide is buoying Trump and the GOP up.  Unfortunate to see them benefiting from the toxic environment they've created.  Also unfortunate that the Dems didn't have a super more youthful candidate to run against Trump.
