Well it's nice that Red at least acknowledges physical distancing in social situations and fewer large gatherings works.

In shocking news, mask mandates work.

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/11/23/937173060/mask-mandates-work-to-slow-spread-of-coronavirus-kansas-study-finds
As always NPR buries the real story.

Carroll cautions that this was not a randomized, controlled study and there could have been other factors at play (such as more physical distancing in social situations and fewer large gatherings) in the counties that were enforcing masks.

LOL!

Fourth paragraph.  Not really buried.   But all a bit irrelevant given this only adds one dataset to literally hundreds of other studies that support the efficacy of masks,  and that we know the actual mechanism by which masks limit the migration of viral droplets.

Red seems to think the idiotic decision by so many anti-maskeraders who refuse the common sense precaution of wearing a mask is not the story.

ITS THE FUCKING STORY.

In a world where at times its diificult to always maintain proper social distance, the risk of not social distancing is reduced by wearing a mask.

its not that complicated to those with a reasoning brain and a rudimentary understanding of how the virus is spread.

Red seems more upset by his false accusation of NPR burying the lede than he is with the US burying 250,000 people.

Red's a fucking moron.

LOL

Cloth masks do nothing of the kind.

Might also point out that someone who hates lockdowns should support mask wearing,  given that it makes public gatherings safer and decreases the chance of a mass infection that would force the issue.

They do, at least the bilayered or trilayered masks that are widely sold.   That's why they are working where people wear them,  to reduce infection rates.   Have a seat.

I remember a time when Republicans tangled in a building scandal used Amercian cloth to cloak themselves in respectaibility.

"Pat doesn’t have a mink coat. But she does have a respectable Republican cloth coat."

Poor Red, dissing respectable cloth, has fallen so far from what once passed as mainstream Republican.

I don't know if Red's tax cuts affords him mink, but I bet he's up to his eyebrows in Fox

LMAO

I liked that one.

Yeah

And no reason to wear one when around nobody at all

You are right.  Not much has changed except the indoor "you don't live with me" restrictions, which given mask indoors policies isn't all that new either.  Appreciate though that it has been spelled out

well, except it doesnt.
Unless you are oblivious to the numbers.
As we now know lockdowns have proven to be a disaster.
Wearing a mask without social distancing is another disaster.

This post distorts truth.
