For you old people: https://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/how-to-tell-if-youre-old

Some of those were not that antiquated -- people still mash potatoes.   Kmart hasn't been out of business all that long.  Audiophiles still own turntables.   My kids,  still young adults,  remember more than half the items on that list.   Many houses still have Mid-century dinette tables.

It's not just that audiophiles still own turntables - in 2019, LPs outsold CDs!

I got 35 of 35 but I had to think a few seconds to recall the chalk holder.

I was 35/35 but WTF is that?  Hint,  please....

you needed one of these to be a Boston Bruins fan in the late 60s.

When tv stations went to digital broadcast in the past decade,  most channels moved their VHF signals to UHF frequencies.   Which means the loop antenna,  for those seeking to pull HDTV signals in free,  is once again useful.

Michael Flynn should be court-martialed for his acts of sedition, as well as charged in the regular courts.

He's going to need a new pardon... and just imagine the Law and Order reactions to a pardon for sedition.

Did Flynn actually recommend that Trump call for Marshall Law?

You hear the strangest things these days!

Pretty sure he only called for martial law and not for the Chinese actor.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is preparing to vote on a judge to fill the seat vacated by Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, as well as several other seats on lower courts, allowing President Donald Trump to continue shaping the courts, Fox News reports.

The panel will vote Thursday on whether to appoint Thomas L. Kirsch II, the current U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Indiana, to the U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. They will also vote on Charles Edward Atchley Jr. and Katherine A. Crytzer, who were both nominated to serve as judges for the Eastern District of Tennessee, on Joseph Dawson III’s nomination for the District of South Caolina, and on Zachary Somers for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

There are three current or upcoming vacancies on appeals courts and 59 on district and specialty courts, along with 35 nominations currently pending.

“People focus less on district courts because they decide cases rather than make legal precedent,” said Curt Levey, the president of the Committee for Justice, a “constitutionalist” nonprofit. “But we have seen rogue district judges impose national injunctions during the Trump administration. They can make it difficult for a president and slow the administration of justice. What district courts do matter. A Trump-appointed district judge will be very different from a Biden-appointed district judge.”

Every minute the Semate does anything but pass the House Covid relief package is another murder hanging on the neck of Mitch McConnell.

Pelosi and the Democrats know what won't fly and are not interested in the beneficial bills that will.

But just so I get your drift Fac are you saying NO BILL means folks can't afford masks?  Or they can't social distance?

Let me guess - the Pelosi bill will allow them to quit their jobs thus keeping them safer?

We know a relief bill will help.  But how does NO BILL kill?

Poor Loser, version 132,646:
Quote
"In my judgment, if only lawful votes by eligible American citizens were cast, Donald Trump won the Electoral College by a significant margin, and Congress's certification should reflect that. This election was stolen by the socialists engaging in extraordinary voter fraud and election theft measures."
~US Rep Mo Brooks, who is using unsupported opinion in place of reason, to form his "judgment."

President-elect Joe Biden told CNN on Thursday that he asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the expert on the coronavirus pandemic, to become his chief medical adviser and part of his Covid-19 response team.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been a top official dealing with the pandemic. But President Donald Trump sidelined him at points during the year after Fauci’s stark warnings about the importance of wearing masks, social distancing and halting large-scale gatherings.

"I asked him to stay on the exact same role he's had for the past several presidents, and I asked him to be a chief medical adviser for me as well, and be part of the Covid team," Biden said.

Fauci had told CBS News that he would meet Thursday Biden’s transition team to discuss the response to the coronavirus pandemic.
