The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to hear an election lawsuit filed by state Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward over alleged irregularities with mail-in ballots.

A lower court judge had dismissed Ward’s case last week. But, according to the Washington Examiner, she took an appeal up to the state’s highest court.

The Examiner said that court will now decide the matter without oral argument.

Ward's case aims to reverse the state's certification of its election results to the Arizona Supreme Court, local news station KTAR reports.

And what do you predict the outcome of that to be, Kid?

Upon learning Sunday that Rudy Giuliani tested positive for COVID-19, Georgia senators who attended a seven-hour hearing last week with President Donald Trump’s personal attorney were urged to self-quarantine.

Of course

This is the master plan, ya know?

Get one of these cases to SCOTUS and the fix is in.

An article about the Arizona court case:
https://patch.com/arizona/phoenix/arizona-supreme-court-will-review-appeal-gop-election-lawsuit

Quote
Arizona GOP Chair Kelli Ward filed an appeal late Friday after Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Steven Warner dismissed her lawsuit regarding duplicate ballots. Ward claimed that errors with duplicated ballots offer proof that the election should be overturned and the state's 11 Electoral College votes should go to President Donald Trump.

The basis for that claim?
Quote
A court-ordered sampling of 1,626 duplicated ballots found Trump lost seven votes due to errors in ballot processing in Maricopa County. An Arizona official estimated that the errors could have resulted in 103 votes that should have gone to Trump. President-elect Joe Biden won the state by over 10,000 votes and Arizona certified the results on Nov. 30.

Ward concludes that 103 votes proves that the whole result of the state should be reversed and given to Trump, overcoming the 10,000 vote Biden had.

Logic worth of Kid Carter or Red Ward.

The lower court judge ruled that:
Quote
Ward "has not proven that the Biden/Harris ticket did not receive the highest number of votes."

Warner went on to write that "The Court finds no misconduct, no fraud, and no effect on the outcome of the election."

The article observes that "Ward's lawsuit was the fifth to be dismissed in the county. To date, no evidence of voter or election fraud has been found."

In addition:
Quote
But not all Republicans are on board with the ongoing litigation. Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers broke ranks with his party Friday, affirming that the Legislature will not call a special session to overturn the election..

"As a conservative Republican, I don't like the results of the presidential election," Bowers wrote. "I voted for President Trump and worked hard to reelect him. But I cannot and will not entertain a suggestion that we violate current law to change the outcome of a certified election."

I don't wonder how the AZ high court is going to rule. There is no evidence to support a Trump win or a need to redo the election.

Let's go!!!!

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz says he is available and willing to give the oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court if the court agrees to hear an election lawsuit out of Pennsylvania challenging the constitutionality of lawmakers' dramatic expansion of absentee voting.

Cruz, the longest-serving solicitor general in the history of Texas and a former law professor at the University of Texas Law School in Austin, was the first U.S. senator to publicly support the case, filed by Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania, 2020 U.S. congressional candidate Sean Parnell and former state representative candidate Wanda Logan.

President Trump called the speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives twice during the past week to make an extraordinary request for help reversing his loss in the state, reflecting a broadening pressure campaign by the president and his allies to try to subvert the 2020 election result.

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order Tuesday prioritizing Americans’ access to a COVID-19 vaccine over foreign nations, an order that reemphasizes his “America First” approach, reports Fox News.

The Food and Drug Administration will meet this Thursday to decide on authorization for Pfizer’s vaccine candidate. Both Pfizer and Moderna have applied to the FDA for emergency use authorization for a coronavirus vaccine.

A Pfizer-BioNTech authorization could come as early as Friday,

President-elect Joe Biden will nominate retired Army Gen. Lloyd Austin to serve as secretary of Defense, a source familiar with the process confirmed.

Austin would be the first Black Defense secretary in the United States. He previously served as the first Black chief of U.S. Central Command from 2013 to 2016.

Politico first reported Austin’s selection.

Biden has been under pressure to nominate a Black defense secretary, with Black leaders arguing he was falling short on diversity in his Cabinet as top positions filled up. Two other of the so-called “Big Four” Cabinet heads Biden has chosen are white: Antony Blinken as secretary of State and Janet Yellen as Treasury secretary.

With Defense secretary chosen, only the attorney general cabinet position remains open among the Big Four.
