Rand Paul just objects to some Congressional hurdles that would slow Trump from pulling troops out of Afghanistan and Germany. He's antiwar, and anti-military sprawl, which is good. But he doesn't seem to make the connection that the more you finance the US military, the more likely it will remain global and engage in wars.
That $740B Randy Paul will vote for after the most minor tweaking is actually a vote for militarism and a danger to world peace.
