None of my friends were in DC today

A friend of mine was in DC today and her path took them too near the MAGA White Supremacist Rally.

A group of them surrounded my friend, then who was then chased down the street.

Had my friend been counter-protesting? No. Shopping.

What did my friend do to offend them? My friend is a diminutive Chinese woman by appearance, with glasses.

That was enough to set this part of the mob off.

Maybe they thought she was there protesting, by her very presence.
They might've seen her as the face of Chinese communism.
Who knows, very few of the protesters on both sides...left and right...in America today...seem cool, calm, rational.
Most seem the exact opposite.

More likely she is a "shopper" with a potty mouth.

Pretty quick to judge a person - not "she" - you don't know anything about.

Pretty quick to forget that your good buddies at the rally have been attacking folks of Asian extraction, not just Chinese, because your asshole of a president kept calling it the China Flu and other such racist bullshit, just like yours, without any need for them to have "a potty mouth."

This is a person who would not have said a thing to anybody because they don't talk to strangers, let alone to large (to my friend), loud White Supremacist, Trump-loving strangers in a group when alone.

Let's hang this around their necks for the next two years and see if their constituents will get rid of them.

If Biden does what he's promised to do, and cancels coal, gas, and oil, the Right won't have to look far for new voters.
If Biden turns the US into a net importer of energy instead of a net exporter of energy...he will surely be in for a rough ride. Lots of jobs in those industries, including very well paying ones.
