This may be the year we find out if a pardon is just another executive order subject to negation and recision by the author’s successor.

No, we know it is not.

The Constitution does not give POTUS "unpardon" power.

Neither the ability of a president to pardon himself or to reverse a pardon are mentioned one way or the other and they haven't been litigated, either.

That doesn't make it a serious constitutional issue. If the next president can come along and unpardon anybody he feels like that means there is in essence no pardon power at all, which clearly goes against the intention of that provision.

The intention is clear from the discussion they had on the topic. They were concerned about abuse of pardon, but actively chose not to put in any checks or balances beyond the one item listed.

Phoenix’s unshaded tent city is called “The Zone” by its inhabitants. Some of them call it “Trumpville,” an echo of Depression-era shantytowns named “Hoovervilles” after President Herbert Hoover, who was accused of not doing enough to keep people sheltered.

The Zone’s hundreds of residents are packed together - often not wearing masks, with many living just in sleeping bags or on a tarp. Without running water or plumbing, simple pandemic health protocols, like handwashing, are difficult. Although the city has posted portable toilets and washing stations along the perimeter, feces and garbage litter the property. In some spots, the stench is overwhelming....

Every other night on their tv news Australians see the might of China's military paraded.  Million plus goose-stepping troops both male and female.
Giant missiles that could blow Australia to kingdom come at any time.

What do you watch on the alternate nights when they aren't televising China military parades?

Covid updates...Joe and Dr Fauci getting vaccinated.
Our crops of fruit rotting in the fields because there are not enough guest/backpacker/casual workers available to pick the fruit because of Covid.  $1000 per week wages.
Govt should've allowed "grey nomads" (old folks travelling around Australia in caravans etc) on pensions, and younger nomads, to pick the fruit tax free...but no...govt wouldn't do it.
Also what Australia should be doing about the insults and trade bans China hurls every other day...including the race card.

Currently the bill appropriates $166 billion for the direct payments. That would go up to ~$553 billion if raised to $2000 per recipient with no other changes.
