There is going to be hundreds of times more evidence sorted about trump’s murderous plot by the time there is a Senate in session to transmit the article of impeachment to than there is today. None of it will look good for republicans.

We’re starting to see the outlines of the inside of this inside job. Lots of active insurrectionists holding sworn offices throughout the GOP.

I think perhaps that's McConnell's intention - to give the FBI, et al, a chance to thoroughly dig into this stuff and figure out who needs to go away, in addition to Trump.

Bizarrely enough.

Donald Trump will now find out who his real friends are.

Who the fuck are you kidding?

He has no real friends beyond, maybe, Tom Brady.

Nor has he been a real friend to anybody. Everything he does is transactional: "What can you do for me, if I do this for you?"

Capiche?

Nor is this Democratic speech - this is what those who know him best, in the party, in business, and in family have to say about him.

We’ve still got to thoroughly clean out the Air Force. It should be an urgent priority for the Biden administration.

The Academy has been filled with folks pushing the right wing religious perspective for a long time, despite several efforts to fix it.

Any Republican Senators who vote to convict Trump in the impeachment can forget about ever running for President or Vice President in the future.

That might be true.

The Republicans are caught in a conundrum of their own making-How to get rid of Trump forever and never have to deal with his insanity again BUT not pissing off "the Deplorable" voters and still be able to milk them for as long as they can for money and votes.

Its a tough problem. Although its possible that people from the middle of the political spectrum (two parties and independents) might view a R-senator who marchs to the sound of his own drummer, positively and view their independence from party dogma as a positive and one that a leader should possess. Leaders lead and have to be both bold and decisive.

And those rogue senator(s) will have the knowledge they did the right thing and took a principled stand.

Any who vote against impeaching him can forget about staying in the country. Do you have dachas to offer these rebels against the nation, it’s people, and it’s laws on your god forsaken patch of dirt? They can’t stay here.

So, you think better they vote based on selfish interests than the good of the country?

How terribly consistent of you!

Right now the likely frontrunner for the Republican nomination is in the Trump camp.

Many of the 74M faithful would likely see them as traitors and never vote for them.

Right now the likely frontrunner for the Republican nomination is in the Trump camp.

And at this point in 2016, the likely front runner was Jeb Bush.
