How many solar power workers does it take to............

It’s a common mistake of politicians and the media to treat jobs as an economic benefit, when in fact, jobs are an economic cost or price of production. As Milton Friedman explained nearly 40 years ago, the appropriate economic objective is to have the fewest number of workers producing the greatest amount of output. When it comes to solar energy, we are employing a very large number of workers who produce a very small amount of electric power – a sure sign of economic inefficiency.]It’s a common mistake of politicians and the media to treat jobs as an economic benefit, when in fact, jobs are an economic cost or price of production. heh

This shows how the statistics can mislead when falsely presented.   The large number of solar workers are INSTALLERS who are rapidly putting in new systems for businesses and residences.   Those systems will last for decades and require very little labor to maintain.   A fair comparison would amortize installer numbers over decades,  and on the coal side would include all the infrastructure that delivers coal plant energy to consumers.   And the extremely high cost of building coal plants.

Another case where the uninformed are duped by false propaganda and fraudulent math.

From the observant here, what would downside to having women as priests?

And not to belittle tradition, but would a lot of those of faith quit the church if women were allowed to be ordained?

Would it rupture the church beyond repair?

Wouldn't it be an opportunity to reinvigorate the church?

Can it be given a test-run in certain select makets, or is that like a little bit pregnant?

What's the big deal of allowing equal gender access to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem?

I think its fucked up and if it were up to me I would change Israeli law.

I think there's a lot of religious zealots who's doctrines are fucked up, which largely explains why I'm not religious.

Cohen and a plea deal?

Manafort decison coming down?

Somebody's gonna hurt somebody before the night is through
Somebody come come undone, and there's nothing we can do

There gonna be a tweet storm tonight, a tweet storm tonight, I know,

Lord I know

Michael Cohen,
I see you came to your senses,
You been trump's line of defenses for so long now,
Oh, your a hard one,
I know that you had your reasons,
Those things that were pleasin' Trump,
Have hurt you somehow.

Oh, the Southern District gotcha, boy,
They beat you cause they're able,
You know the Queen of Porn was always your worst bet,

Now it seems to me some tough cards,
Have been laid upon the table,
But you only want the ones you can't get.

Michael Cohen,
 you ain't getting no younger,
Your pain and your hunger, will grow while in jail.

And freedom, oh, freedom,
That's gone, you'll be perp-walkin',
Your prison day's coming, sadly you're all on your own.

Eagles now have the biggest selling record of all time, passing MJ's "Thriller".

Monmouth Right Track / Wrong Track

Right Track 35%

Wrong Track 57%

I’m betting that’s a 3-5 point wider spread by October.

Well, since i may be this board's token practicing Catholic, i might point out the down side would be the wrath of God....

Actually, male priesthood is a long standing scripture derived tradition, but tradition is one of the pillars of the faith and canonical law so it is not so readily set aside. Female deaconate.

Eagles songs about the Trump admin?   Hmm....

Mirrors on the ceiling,  pink champagne on ice,
Both sides in Charlottesville are really very nice.

Welcome to the Moscow Ritz Carlton,
Such a lovely place,  whores pee on your face,
Donnie's livin it up at the old Ritz Carlton,
And it's no surprise he needs alibis.

Relax said Vlad Putin,
We are programmed to deceive,
You can check out any time you like
But my web you can't unweave...

Word of God is a tricky thing, as is trusting the guy learned enough at the time to jot it down accurately.

I don't think it would be easily accepted, but as a practicing Catholic, could you feel comfortable if "Refiorm Catholisicm". for lack of a better phrase, allowed for it, within Catholicism?

Just received a major back-pay check from the VA. Must have been a correction made of a flub. There seems to be a major improvement from the negative scandal ridden BHO days when many Vets died waiting for health services and compensation.

Looks like a guilty plea to avoid a trial, not to cooperate with prosecutors.  So not sure what the implications are for Trump.
