Just received a major back-pay check from the VA. Must have been a correction made of a flub. There seems to be a major improvement from the negative scandal ridden BHO days when many Vets died waiting for health services and compensation.

Yeah.  We saw this when you first posted it.

Trump takes credit for Obama and Shulkin’s work, campaigned off it, though he’s still in the first half of his first term, and is just getting around to removing ethical employees so his friends and members can start gutting the VA.

Remember what the last real president did for Veterans. This fake one has now loosed the rats and vultures that will kill and eat this vital institution.

Look at our jury, up all night
Tearing this case apart
Aren't we the same twelve people
Who have been kept in the dark?

Every time we try to find our way
There's 18 counts and they ain't goin' away,
but we will find out why

We aren't lazy
It just ain't right
(try to keep your head, everyone)
Gee, it gets lonely, too
You don't have to worry
we'll do what's right
(don't get caught on your phone)
We're the ju-ry!

Something's wrong as far as we can see
This seems much harder than it has to be
But we will find out why
so, baby, call the FBI
We will find out why

Every time we try to walk away
Someone comes around to make us stay
And Putin may be why

So, baby, call the FBI
We will find out why
we will find out why

Cohen and a plea deal?

Manafort decison coming down?

Somebody's gonna hurt somebody before the night is through
Somebody come come undone, and there's nothing we can do

There gonna be a tweet storm tonight, a tweet storm tonight, I know,

Lord I know
Our loses his security clearance is my prediction for the purposeful distraction.

Looks like a guilty plea to avoid a trial, not to cooperate with prosecutors.  So not sure what the implications are for Trump.

Well, I guess thats close to answered.

Eh, suppressing witnesses with a little campaign finance law violating.  No biggie.

Perhaps Paul Ryan will make some vague gesture of disapproval.

Other members of Trump’s team — Michael Flynn, Rick Gates and George Papadopoulos — have pleaded to making false statements in exchange for cooperating with prosecutors. Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was just found guilty on eight counts in the first of two trials involving offenses related to his private consulting business that predated the 2016 campaign. None of their actions during the 2016 campaign have been exonerated — and prosecutors often keep details of such investigations under wraps for as long as possible — but it remained true, before Tuesday afternoon, that neither Robert S. Mueller III nor anybody else had issued a criminal indictment or obtained a guilty plea involving a Trump aide and the 2016 campaign.

The question about whether Cohen would cooperate with prosecutors was the big one here, but it seems almost moot now. He has already provided key evidence publicly, and now he has rather clearly suggested, via his plea, that Trump was involved. Cohen has also previewed a willingness to cooperate, even publicly revealing a tape of a conversation he had with Trump about buying the rights to the story of one of Trump’s accusers, McDougal.

We have crossed a new threshold in this whole matter.

Yes, we have crossed a new threshold. https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/politics/2018/08/21/why-cohen-plea-deal-is-bad-trump-it-puts-him-very-close-an-actual-crime/?noredirect=on

Despite Trump’s persistent efforts to impede the inquiry into his campaign’s collusion with Russia — by firing the FBI director, pressuring the Department of Justice to end the inquiry, and dangling pardons to witnesses — there is very likely much more to come. Even in the exceedingly unlikely event that the trail of evidence somehow stops dead cold, the degree of illegality already proven to surround Trump is historic.

From his profitable association with La Cosa Nostra, to his lending of properties out for worldwide money launderers, to his “Trump University” scheme that he was forced to settle, Trump has built an entire career knee-deep in ethical filth. Very little of this was litigated in the 2016 election — which, in fact, devoted more attention to the sloppy email practices of his opponent than all of Trump’s shady associations and practices. His ubiquitous “lock her up!” chants reflected the widely shared belief that Trump’s opponent was the greater sinner.

Should he stand for reelection — a prospect that seems slightly less certain tonight than it did this morning — Trump will be doing so in very different circumstances. He will be running not as Nixon in 1968 or 1972, but Nixon in 1974, not as the guardian of law and order, but a crook.

The Campaign chairman, National Security Advisor and personal attorneys the President of the United States of America are all convicted or admitted felons.

Where the fuck are at least a few GOP congressional members?
