The torture and deaths of orphanage children by the folks who ran the catholic orphanages is still inadequately reported or documented, though the documentation continues to improve.

But I shuddered as I read this article.

My no1 radio host keeps telling the dimwitted politicians in bambuland that as regards China's etc ownership purchasing of farmland, real estate, companies etc...that "ownership is ownership, not investment".
They don't listen.

Trump has opted for a Nancy Reagan approach with a little Duerte posturing and other meaningless symbolic gestures. Meanwhile, the crisis gets worse and the death toll continues to rise. This is what you see when you pay attention. It’s another area where republican leadership does nobody any good except the grifters who conned their way into office and the crony capitalists who bribe them.
