Kansas, with a real Secretary of State, is a blue state. Kobach is going to get nailed to the wall mid campaign. Every republican story is a a tragedy of moral failure.

Except when one that disagrees with Trump dies, right?

No. They are all moral tragedies except when one uses his or her power and influence to actively thwart, diminish, investigate, and prosecute trump, kobach, sessions, cruz, walker, scott, and evil grifting scumbags like them who infest and dominate the GOP.

While Kasich is a better and wiser man than than 90% of all elected republicans, that only makes him a below average American. That said, when a sitting president is primaried, neither he nor the inter party challenger goes on to win the general election.

Party on, John.

Happy Labor Day.

You know very little about any of them.  And in 08 you treated McCain the same as you are treating kobach now

He was letting himself be run by the same criminal vampire class. McCain would have made a terrible president, world’s better than trump, but falling between the two Bushes which is very very bad.

Kobach is a flunky who needs to be retired and incarcerated.

Richard Lugar was the most American and least partisan republican of the era since the gingrich revolution and the contract on America.

If you had abandoned Bush for Dick, you’d have never caught trump and his various social diseases.

Republicans make Socialism popular by reminding Americans how much they love and depend on Socialism through their constant effort to take Socialist programs away.

The 25% republican support can be bartered down to 15% by simply exposing the republican office holders and operatives as they are.

There is a lot of makeup on the GOP pig. As it flop sweats, the makeup is caking off.

I love watching Kasich getting ready to primary trump. He’s right about the republicans dipping under 25% affiliation.

So, THIS Republican you like, then?

It's OK - thats the way it should be.

No, don't like him, either, Kiid.

Liking watching him get ready has little to do with liking or not liking him.

It's not that fuzzy a difference!

Oh, give it a fucking break, Kiid.

We know exactly what they choose to show us.

When what they show us is that they are racists, anti-democracy, fools we believe them.

For some reason, you don't.

McCain showed he had both a heroic side and a craven side.

He showed a maverick side and a blind allegiance side.

He showed a caring about some who were different from him and a lack of such caring, depending on his connection to those individuals.

He was a complex human, more so than many of his comrades in politics - but his politics still, overall, sucked. His conduct in most of the 2008 campaign brought with it appropriate criticism.

Try as you might, nobody here will defend Kobach.

That's not the issue here.  The issue is your statement about ALL Republicans.

I’ve said it’s a large majority and identified a counter example. It is a large majority of a finite set, so by summing vectors you can make evidence based statements about the actions and effects of the entire set. For example, republicans do astoundingly hypocritical reversals on the importance of debt depending on whether they are in or out of power.

By his gait you can tell trump is The Walrus. That makes pence The Carpenter. I’m sure we all enjoy their little strolls along the beach.

More corrupt behavior from the Baboon in Chief....

Quote
(CNN)President Donald Trump on Monday blasted his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and lamented the indictments of two lawmakers who were his earliest supporters in Congress during the 2016 election, suggesting they should not have been charged because they are Republicans.

"Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department," Trump tweeted. "Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff..."

A decision by the Justice Department to hold off on prosecuting two Republican congressmen up for re-election in order to help them win would have been highly unethical and a blatantly politically motivated violation of the department's nonpartisan mission. The comment on Monday was the latest indication that Trump, who ran on a pledge to "drain the swamp," believes his political allies should be immune from prosecution, regardless of the evidence stacked against them.
The Justice Department declined to comment on the President's tweets....
