After a Needed Adjustment, and a squirt of Oil, the dialogue machinery is still stuck.

In the news:  "shekels."  Eric blowing an anti-Semitic dogwhistle, or just innocent cluelessness?

Eric is the Fredo of the next gen of Trump Crime, Inc.

If possible, I think Eric and Don Jr. are both Fredo.

So, Mr. Dodgy McEvasive, what would be your answers?

What is your opinion of Mr. Kavanaugh's workplace ethic, if it is true that he was shown porn by his boss or knew of his boss showing porn to other clerks, or knew of other sexual misconduct?  In the words of Hawaii Sen. Hirono:

"I’d like to know what kind of awareness did Judge Kavanaugh have about Judge Kozinski’s behavior, which spread over years."

No, don't evade.  Answer:  is Hirono's question reasonable (or Sen. Harris's, which is similar)?  What would it mean, if Kavanaugh was not truthful about his knowledge of Kozinski's behavior?  How would that impact his qualifications to hold an office of high trust and impeccable character?  (nobody gives a shit if he was watching his own porn, privately, so don't try to chase that red herring)

After we explained it to them, I think both REDSTATEWARD and kiidcarter8 now understand why questions re: Kavanaugh's potential response to Kozinki's conduct (and when he knew of that conduct) are relevant.

But because they started this conversation arguing that they are not relevant, they will never admit it.
I started no conservation on this subject. I only asked Josh a question.

I didn’t know we’re in a match, Banks.

The behave as expected Bsnks is because when there is a disagreement you have a habit of making it more competitive than contemplative. You like to get personal as if you’re actually winning something.

Fine, whatever floats your boat.

I used the construct of a tennis match: point-game-set-match, as illustative of our going back and forth.
I didn't think it was a tought concept to grasp.

I pointed out your use of factual mistakes that you thought supported your position. But they didn't as they were not true.

And its not so much as winning, but rather effectively supporting a position with relevant facts as opposed to deflecting with an irrelvant personal story about you.

Knicks you were passed at the net.

Point taken.

I evidently lost a game I didn’t realize I was playing. Fine, you get the big gold plate or something.

The personal story was my response to the “The Rules” being cited as the only consideration,

That's a good story,  Larry.   I am uncertain how it relates,  as an analogy,  to sportsmanship in tennis.

Larry just likes talking about Larry.

Beats talking about you.

Larry's cronies from town liked to threaten young (13-14 yo) hoops players at games.

Was Larry a part of this?  I wonder.

Amityville horror wasn't just the house.

My cronies from Amityville? What the fuck are you talking about?

By the way, the real Amityville Horrir wasn’t the house on Ocean Avenue, it was what happened inside the house in November 1974. Everything after was bullshit lapped up by rubes like you.

Knicks Thanks for the plate.

The point was, game or no game, your arguments sucked.

You want a personal anecdote about rules and life?

I taught my kid to play tennis, and the general rule was all balls were in unless they were clearly out.

And she got reasonably good, and eventually gave me good games, (the brat would run me and my bad knees all over the court) and tried out for her HS team (and they were very good).

And during the tryouts/seeding process she used to tell me about a kid who would routinely call good balls out.

And i told her the rules still apply, play your best game, don't let the kid get in your head, and its not worth it to win a point and lose your dignity or sense of right and wrong.

Besides, the coachs knew too.

And she made the team, the other kid didn't.

Alls well.

Thanks again for the plate.

Kavanaugh managed the selection and hiring process for the bulk of the women harassed with his boss, the sexually abusive judge he watch porn with and got porn from. Was this how Kosinski conveyed to Kavanaugh the “qualifications” he was looking for from those who Kavanaugh got to fill the positions?

It does actually sound like Red’s idea of jurisprudence.

Feinstein has tendered her document to the FBI and the author’s lawyer has consulted with agents. The FBI has declined to comment, as they tend to in ongoing investigations.

It may be the sexcapades rather than the copious lying under oath or financial chicanery that brings Brett’s legal career to a swift end.

Not a good look for the nominee.

Gee, Larry, you got your ass kicked on the tennis tantrum, and by several posters here.

Don't pout.

Just sdmit that you didn't see the match, you didn't know the facts, but you charged in ready for the another black-denied-justice moment, when that was never the situation.

Better pick your battles more wisely, and check your righteous indignation at the door.

You might have won a checkers game, but Larry was making go moves so overall it’s hard to score.

And FTR, if banks and I agree on something, it's not a good thing to disagree. We are both wrong many times, but when we agree, we are both right.  ;D

I really don't want my comments on the Serena thing drawn into your scorekeeping,  your asskicking or whatever you think that was,  or this whole adversarial thing with Larry that seems to consume you.

No.

My righteous indignation is how I got be sixty... I never sit back and be quiet.  My argument was not just about the tennis match this weekend.

I still think there is a different standard in the world whether in sports or life in general. If you guys don’t get that am I not surprised.
