Wave that foam finger.  We are giving a lifetime appointment to a judge who may have committed sexual assault, and will lie about it under oath.

Dude - dont pull the punch - heh (may have?)

but yeah, that's ballsy.....

Compared to Ms Ford NOT wishing to appear to tell the truth, correct?

You should try to do a better job at keeping up with current events.

And its the GOP that doesn't want an investigation.  Ask yourself; if Kavanaugh is being falsely accused, why wouldn't he want the FBI involved?

But your BIAS plays into your skepticism

Nope.  A knowledge of how each and every major action Trump has taken since becoming President has been seen by Americans, as backed by credible polling and interim off-year elections ...

- Backing a healthcare bill that would throw 30 million off their insurance (which had his - approval down to the low 30s in some polls at the time)
- A tax cut bill that is highly unpopular and that 2 of 3 Americans know was for the wealthy (according to the GOP's own internal polls)
- Refusing to denounce White Supremacists after Charlottesville
- Campaigning for a credibly accused child molester
- Repeated and ongoing corruption of his cabinet members
- "Shithole Countries"
- Separating Children from families seeking asylum (500 still not reunited)
- Puerto Rico (and his asinine comments re: the death toll)
- Pushing through a judge who represents a real threat to a ruling that most Americans support, even after he is credibly accused of sexual assault.
- The guilty pleas and indictments of numerous campaign associates as it becomes more and more likely that he cooperated with the intelligence services of a hostile foreign power to win his election (49% of Americans support impeachment)

And there is probably so much I am leaving out.

Existing in the FOX News bubble, I'm sure you have no clue how all this played in real America.  But you would have to have your head seriously up your behind to contend that Trump has earned himself more support over the last two years.

And certainly, the results Republicans themselves expect to see in the November election don't suggest that he has.

What was Obama's excuse for his midterm shellacking?

(Happens all the time?  Oh, OK)

"We're going to plow right through it"  - Mitch McConnell to "Value Voters" Summit today re: getting Kavanaugh on the court.

So Republicans are full of shit.  Whether or not they hear Ford, they have made up their minds, and don't care at all that the guy could be unqualified for the position.

And those "values voters"...have to love that.  Putting a guy who may have committed sexual assault and lied about it on the nation's highest court for the rest of his life so that they have their shot at outlawing abortion.

Values!

Doesnt it just burn your ass that we dont have a President Sanders right now?

YG (I think it was) says he longs for the days when the nominee was decided in a smoky back room.

Well, it WAS in 2016.  And decided poorly.

Who knew she was CFC (cant fucking close)?

You guys should have.  But you decided very early that it was HER throne.

Mrs. Ford appears to be telling the truth because she is telling the truth. Kavanaugh and his backers seem wormy about it because they know what he did and how wrong it was. He has been doing things as bad or worse (procuring, enabling torture, misprision of felonies, etc.) his entire professional career.

The closest this pissant degenerate should come to a bench is standing before one as a defendant.

Obama didn’t want to kill the party of Lincoln by revealing how far in (a pee soaked) bed it is with Putin. He was the final Republican President, up there with Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Eisenhower as the only four great ones in the party’s history.

An economy still in the dumps due to the worst crash since the Great Depression vs. an economy at the high point of its recovery...

Yes, ruling party often loses in the midterms. Doesn’t mean the reasons for that happening are the same each time.

So full of shit it isn't even funny.

And President Sanders over anybody in the Fellowship of the Ding Dongs? Sure. Over HRC? No.

And I didn't and don't care whether Barry liked it or not. Sanders wasn't going to win the nomination unless he took the Green Party nomination he was (illegally) offered.

The Revolt Going on Inside Trump's Favorite Industry

Apparently, while the steel industry is doing well and there are new jobs, the old jobs (and new ones) are not particularly doing well and the workers want their share of the successes the owners are experiencing.

Good luck, guys - you got the man you wanted!

Bumbling Beto.................

https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/21/politics/texas-senate-debate-ted-cruz-beto-orourke/index.html

Oddly enough, that doesn't seem to be a widely held position, let alone anything the article said.

"Experts say Ted Cruz wins first debate on style while Beto O’Rourke scores on likeability"

But why confuse you with the facts when you knew who you thought won before the debate started.

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2018/09/21/knoblach-ends-campaign-amid-abuse-allegations

As previously noted, despite Red's best efforts to understand, he just doesn't.

It takes zero effort on my part to find these stories, because they are headlines in general news such that my friends put them where I can read them, if the news folks don't, which they mostly do.

Quote
Republican state Rep. Jim Knoblach abruptly ended his re-election campaign Friday as MPR News prepared to publish detailed accusations from his daughter of inappropriate behavior toward her since childhood.
[/size]

Of course he denied it.

How often do guys admit it if they think they can avoid it?

He probably read the same “coaching” books as Brett Kavanaugh.
