I was really hoping a man would come forth and say Kavanaugh sexually assaulted him.

I dont think the Renate Dolphin yearbook incident rendered the other sigs worthless.  I think the women in his daily life NOW carry more weight.

I think it shows that Kavanaugh has friends that he never sexually assaulted.  Worthless.  News Flash: his friends support him.

ALso, Dudley, a Kav drinking buddy, saying he never saw Kav drink to blackout.  The funny thing is no one has any idea when a drunk person's consciousness goes out when they are still functioning.  passed out?  Easy to see, and I'm sure Kavanaugh did such.  Black out?  No one knows except the individual.

I recall friends calling me on a Sunday and thanking me for driving them home.  Which I would often have no recollection of.  Sometimes to the degree that I would gte out of bed cross th ehall and look out the window to make sure my car was indeed out there.  And sometimes friends would tell me about something I did that I couldn't recall.  Etc.

Very unlikely heavy young drinker Kav never blacked out.

Ford seems much more fragile than I expected.

I am reminded of an old law school friend of mine who used me as a reference for his JAG corps application. Two of the questions were, have you ever known applicant to use illegal drugs, and have you ever known applicant to drink to excess. I like to think my responses as finely wrought equivocation rather than lies. There is a surprising amount of wiggle room in concepts like "use" or "excess" or "blackout drunk".

I think its pretty simple.

Dudley never saw Kavanaugh in a passed out state.

Dudley is of course very credible.

You can't sexually assault someone when you're passed out.
(and Dudley didn't say he never saw Kavanaugh pass out from drinking)

The issue is blacked out.
Because it is possible that Kav was drunk enough not to remember his groping and attack on Ford.  That is, that could have happened and he could not remember it.  Of course he also could not remember it because it wasn't a big deal to him and was indeed forgotten.

FOX News surprisingly moderate, though skeptical.  and loaded with commercials.
ABC has been the most watchable.

Well let me put it this way to my Republican colleagues. If this becomes the new standard where you have an accusation for weeks, you drop it right before the hearing, you withhold from the committee a chance to do this in a professional timely fashion. When they say they’re going to do this is to delay the vote, get the Senate back in 2018 so they can fill the seat. I don’t want to publicly reward that kind of behavior. I think we’ve been very fair. And to my Republican colleagues. If you can ignore everything in this record an allegation that’s 35 years old, that’s uncertain in time, place, date and no corroboration. If that’s enough for you, God help us all as Republicans. Because this happens to us, but this never happens to them. Let me tell my democratic friends, if this is the new norm, you better watch out for your nominees.

Maryland has no statute of limitations for rape,  murder,  or assault.   It's good to factcheck your sources.
