https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/23/economy/seattle-minimum-wage/index.html

How is the minimum wage experiment going so far?

Better for the employees than predictions would have had it. Fewer hours, on average, but an increase in average weekly wages, regardless, among other results.

Sure enough, even Trump admits he doesn't know what he is talking about wrt middle-eastern folks in the migrant caravan.

It likely won't stop him from saying it some more.

Of course it won’t stop him. That he makes this shit up as it suits him should be obvious even to his die-hard, numbskull base. He never sites any experts or personal witnesses to back up his claims. He just throws it out there and then doubles down on it in the days to follow. In other words, I don’t have to prove it (I’m the President!). You prove that it isn’t true….And whenever people have the persistence to keep asking about it (like his tax returns) he just lets it fade away (much as he let his Hawaii investigation into Obama’s birth certificate, for the most part, just ‘fade away’).

As president, Hillary will:
Introduce comprehensive immigration reform. Hillary will introduce comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to full and equal citizenship within her first 100 days in office. It will treat every person with dignity, fix the family visa backlog, uphold the rule of law, protect our borders and national security, and bring millions of hardworking people into the formal economy.
End the three- and 10-year bars. The three- and 10-year bars force families—especially those whose members have different citizenship or immigration statuses—into a heartbreaking dilemma: remain in the shadows, or pursue a green card by leaving the country and loved ones behind.

Give up on her Luee. She’ll never date you because

1) she’s still married to a much better man

2) your ugly, ugly soul

I have a bigger highly educated younger lady as a companero. She is not a play for pay lawyer politician who needs violent desperate third worlders to get elected and do housework.

Gee, you keep saying that, but without any substantiation.

Nor do we care about your lady's size.

You should not be allowed to communicate via the Internet, you poisonous little toad, but, alas, this is the world we live in.

I take it that you are in favour of the US borders being open...so anyone and everyone can just enter and enjoy all that America has to offer immigrants...no questions asked?

Anyone, and everyone...no walls, no gates, just walk right in for a new and better life.

First that never happened for even a minute of our history. The worst scumbags we let in we’re trumps followed closely by cruzs and both of those fine families slinked down from Canada (examples of a country sending its worst people). I like the humane lawful and orderly process of processing arrivals into the immigration status that matches their circumstances by taking their information, releasing them into the care of family members or sponsors and resolving their status at a hearing scheduled for a later date where the arriving person has representation working on his or her behalf. I enjoy the lawfulness, industry, vibrancy, brilliance, and revival of the founding American principles brought by every wave of immigrants. I’m even willing to accept the few bad apples that in a self-fucking manner turn republican.

Bambu, now that you have your answer, log off and hit yourself repeatedly with that cheese dick you have been using for a brain. And please, stay where you are and try to learn something about the workings of civilized countries before you see fit to comment on them.

Australia tried that...it didn't work out well...communities hid asylum seekers, and the courts were clogged with their cases.
District court, state supreme court, federal High Court...at astronomical cost to taxpayers.
Appeal, after appeal, after appeal.

Then many of the so called persecuted...return to their countries of origin for holidays!  LOL

I come from the land downunder...a civilised country.
Not us still having chambers of death.

https://theintercept.com/2018/10/19/south-carolina-foster-parent-discrimination-miracle-hill-ministries/

Let's allow religious discimination!

If granted, the exemption would allow Miracle Hill Ministries, a Protestant social service agency working in the state’s northwest region, to continue receiving federal dollars while “recruiting Christian foster families,” which it has been doing since 1988, according to its website. That discrimination would apply not just to Jewish parents, but also to parents who are Muslim, Catholic, Unitarian, atheist, agnostic or other some other non-Protestant Christian denomination.

#####

Why should the Protestant group have to hand the babies over to parents who are not Protestant?
Answer; they should not have to.

Because they are using government money and doing government work, not church work and money, alone.

But your country doesn't celebrate separation of church and state.

Muslim/Jewish etc adoption agencies have to hand over Muslim/Jewish etc babies to Protestant parents?

HRC looks as though she could use a good Latino cook. Maybe when and if her elitist liberal immigration agenda passes.

Or maybe she will flip back to reality.

Clinton In 1993: "We Are Left With A Serious Problem, Because We Have A Number Of Undocumented Workers And Illegal Aliens In The Country Right Now." CLINTON: "But we are left with a serious problem, because we have a number of undocumented workers and illegal aliens in the country right now. And they do show up in our emergency rooms, and they do use our public health facilities." (Hillary Clinton, Committee On Ways And Means, U.S. House Of Representatives, Testimony, 9/28/93)

In A 2003 Radio Interview, Clinton Said, "I Am Adamantly Against Illegal Immigrants." "We've got to do several things and I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. I made this exception basically on humanitarian grounds because of the individual story but certainly we've got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants. Come up to Westchester, go to Suffolk and Nassau counties, stand in the street corners in Brooklyn or the Bronx - you're going to see loads of people waiting to get picked up to go do yard work and construction work and domestic work." (John Gambling, "John Gambling Radio Show," 2/03)

If they are receiving government funding, yes.

But you might want to go look to see who is adopting the Jewish and Muslim kids.
