Just want to chronicle the boomerang effects as they multiply across America.  The voter suppression effort on the rez in ND may actually lead to HIGHER voter turnout this year.  Article explains how.

You might want to take in the Appeals Court ruling allowing the North Dakota Law to proceed
( SCOTUS declined to step in).

Good reading for those who refuse to believe that Trump's violent rhetoric amounts to incitement; it isn't only on Trump, but also his enablers in the GOP.  Saying that Trump's language, attacks, and encouragement of physical threats was irresponsible wasn't so controversial for Marco Rubio a few years ago. Now he is too much of a chicken-shit to say it.  So this is also on him:

https://crooked.com/articles/gop-problem-from-hell/

As much as I loathe Trump, it's not all on him. Only an extreme partisan or an idiot would say that.

You are welcome to point out where anyone is saying this is "all on him."  You can start with the post you quoted.

Guess you don't read what you post, or if you do, infer well from what was written. Saying the GOP has folded under the influence of Trump is essentially saying that the divisive times are Trump's doing.

Don't play the bullshit parsing game here, fella.

You're just redstate in blue underwear.

You attribute an argument to me that I did not make, then claim I am playing a "bullshit parsing game" when I point that out.  I'm not the one here who is playing games, fella.

I said the GOP shares blame for Trump's continued rhetoric of hate and violence.  They absolutely do. If they came out against it, and used their powers of oversight to build real consequences against it, it would stop.

Uh.........no, smart guy

You got the part about Needs being smart right. The rest, not so much.

It’s sad you can’t envision republicans with spines. It might be the bad politics and bad policy that have eaten the party from the inside leaving only dangerous rot as residue.

Yes, Trump's proposed Executive Order is illegal.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/30/politics/birthright-citizenship-executive-order-trump-paul-ryan/index.html

What's wrong with Trump having a line item veto of the Constitution?

Don't like birthright citizenship, no problem, lets just let Trump run a line through it.

I can't see the party of Originalism having a problem with Trump wielding the executive pen on this issue.

Get 'er done before the election.

And then maybe expand the Court by 2 more seats,

Trump should get that EO done by next week.

and lets rethink freedom of religion, Jews are ok, at least the dead ones, but we should really scrutinize if we can tolerate Muslims.

EO them too.

Democracy is awesome.

Well,  Trump is tolerant of muslin,  if you sew it into a stylish conical head covering.

Meanwhile, the same administration that wants to rewrite the Constitution without a vote also wants to block access to the courts for a lawsuit against the administration... still:

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/30/health/sutter-climate-kids-rally/index.html

They want the kids to be ruled not to have standing. Or that they have no right to breathable air. Or, perhaps instead, that the courts have no power to overrule the political side of things on the matter of climate/environment. Or, failing that, that these (pesky) kids don't understand that America is the LEADER in alternative energies and cutting emissions and the like, so their complaints are just a waste of time.

IOW, they don't have an actual position other than "STFU, kids!"

So, they filed a writ of mandamus, but honestly? I think that would better be a thing the kids filed against them!

Tony?

WND is not reputable. Even though Sarah Sanders couldn't name a fake news agency, I can and this is it.

Muslin is a part of the fabric of America.

I learned that while canvassing neighborhoods, from my flats.

Now Trump wants to abolish the 'anchor baby' law.
Wise man.

More 'honey' off the table.

More bigotry from the White Supremacist down under.

A pejorative term for a problem that doesn't exist.

The majority of babies born to those who do not live in this country likely come from tourist pregnancies in which the mothers are here legally - but that is not what the term anchor babies refers to.

One has to wonder why so many progressive European (among other) nations have eliminated birthright citizenship

Hey, Bambu - give us Australia's story on it.

Oh. So now you're arguing policy. Got it. There's a clear legal path to eliminating birth right citizenship. And Trump doesn't even need to run it by counsel.

One has to wonder how long America will tolerate Trump playing 3-card Donnie, his game of distraction, by using the manufactured threat of eliminating birthright citizenship with a stroke of a pen, when hatred he fuels burns out of control, and the Treasury which he looted, runs a $1.4 trillion deficit and which will be paid by the middle-class, either in higher future taxes or lost services and benefits.

This con game has gone on too long.

VOTE.

We are not going to let Trump change our Constitution. It is not going to happen.

Trump needs to focus on renegotiating our trade deals, he is a business man, he can fix our trade deals, until we can elect a new President in 2020.

And right now the Democrats are about to take control of the House of Representatives, and maybe the Senate too, thus taking control of Congress. The Democrats need to be able to block Trump's crazy ideas and his hate.

No wall!

And if you are born here then you are an American!

This land belonged to the Native American Indians, and now it belongs to all human beings as equals.

Salute,

Tony V.
