A new nonprofit charity organization just cut their ribbon today by city hall in Anaheim, the organization is named "Chrysalis" and they help the homeless people to get jobs. We have several new programs to help the homeless people to get into housing, a lot of attention is going to housing for the homeless, and along with housing and other services such as medical care, etc, there needs to be services to help the homeless people to get jobs, and that is what Chrysalis does.

Chrysalis helps formerly homeless people to get jobs working on the roads with Cal Trans, etc, etc, etc, and they are establishing a relationship with the Disney resort to help the formerly homeless people to get jobs at Disney, etc, etc, etc. In Culver City they help the formerly homeless people to get jobs at Sony Studios, etc, etc, etc.

As we get the homeless people off of the streets and into housing, it is important to have organizations such as Chrysalis which help the homeless to find employment.  And of course job training and education are important, and organizations are needed to help with all of that.

So, Chrysalis will be a welcome addition here in Anaheim. And as we go from the post Great Recession era which saw California lose over five hundred thousand jobs to China, Chrysalis can help as we get the homeless people off of the streets and into housing and back into the workforce.

Now we need redevelopment money and tax breaks here in California to inspire people to create new jobs to rebuild our economy here in California, such as by opening a new automobile manufacturing plant in Van Nuys, etc, etc, etc. And our high speed trains will help, including a high speed train between Anaheim and Las Vegas.

Salute,

Tony V.

We learned well from the Republicans. How do you think Scott Pruitt made his bones with the far Right?

Well the suit was brought by the Democratic AG.  The Governor is a Republican, though, and didn't allow the funds for a previous attempt at suing the President.

Larry Hogan, having just rubbed elbows with his entire state appears to be planning to survive in the post-trump landscape.

John Yoo of all people. If this plays out by law, trump will likely rupture something in the ensuing tantrum.

Sisto's seat was empty, and the People are outraged that he was stab-slaughtered by an Islamic terrorist;

Empty seat for Melbourne terror victim

A coffee machine burbles, the smell of freshly-ground beans fill the air: it's like so many other mornings at the popular Melbourne cafe, except a star attraction is missing.

Sisto Malaspina's bar stool stands empty, facing a burning candle, a folded newspaper and one of his favourite long black coffees on the counter.

They would have bee  much happier had he been killed by a white supremacist.

Oh no they wouldn't.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/13/politics/2018-exit-polls/index.html

Lots of interesting tidbits.

My own favorite is the percentage worried some people are being denied the chance to vote vs. the much smaller percentage worried about voter fraud.

My least favorite is the clear evidence that Trump's mantra about a witch hunt resonates with too many people.

Wage growth adjusted for inflation remain negative under trump thanks to the tax scam leading to the electoral shellacking. The greedy groper’s popularity has fallen by 6% since the election. Republicans are diving and tanking right along with their figurehead.

With each close district and race called, the wave is looking bigger and bluer.

CA 45 is going Democratic as well.

Soon Steve King is going to have to go all the way to the White House to find another white nationalist to talk to.

https://theweek.com/speedreads/807424/heavily-republican-florida-county-allowed-some-residents-vote-by-email-apparently-illegally

Quote
Andersen defended his decision to let 150 people scan their ballots and email them in, telling NBC affiliate WJHG/WECP, "If you want to turn around and take away these votes away from voters because it's not the normal prescribed issue, I would just say you ought to be ashamed of yourself because what we did is take care of voters."

I can imagine the outcry had this been a Democratic election supervisor in a heavily Democratic area.

Oddly enough, President Trump, Governor Scott, and Jeb Bush had nothing to say about it.
