I met a scientist on the train, we could not talk about anything because everything he worked on was top secret, but we talked about new manufacturing jobs in Mojave, and about how California is a world leader in the field of emerging technology, and about how we could create a lot of new jobs if we keep the manufacturing of new emerging technology items here local in California.

And we have guys like Richard Branson, and Elon Musk, working on projects in Mojave.

Bambu, California benefits from aerospace and defense, and the Mars projects create a lot of jobs here in California. Those are good, fun jobs. My hometown built the Space Shuttles, in the Antelope Valley, and they are working on all of the new stuff. And Virgin Galactic is in Mojave, etc.

Facilitatorn, Yes, we should manufacture batteries here, I support that, and airplane windows, and many other items, and all of the new emerging technology items that we invent should be manufactured here in California. And yes, we need to work on our infrastructure, including on our high speed trains, and on our subways, etc. We also need to become more bicycle friendly, etc. California also needs to become totally dependent on clean energy, and it would be nice to get to a point where we could actually eat the local seafood instead of it all being polluted with mercury, etc.

Trump needs to be strong on the trade deal with China, and with other trade deals globally, and we can and will bounce back. Not only in California, but also in Michigan, and in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and other states. Conditions will improve for the whole USA if Trump negotiates better trade deals for us.

And we need new jobs around the USA for the coal workers, etc, they can work in the field of clean energy, etc.

On the issue of creating jobs for the homeless people, locally we have a new office for Chrysalis, they ring a bell every time they get someone a new job, I hope their bell rings like mad.

Link for info on Chrysalis...

https://changelives.org/

We also need to have redevelopment programs, and we need to make sure that some of our tax money is spent locally to help to rebuild our communities, create jobs, and help our people. Low interest business loans are also important. We also need to get the students at Pepperdine, and Stanford, and elsewhere, to create local jobs here in California after they graduate. And the same with our local film schools and acting schools, etc, we need to create more jobs locally here in California, so we need tax breaks for filmmakers, and easy financing options, etc.

There is a lot of hard work to do. We can bounce back and we can be better than ever.

And even with all of the bad things that have been happening, with the bad trade deals, and fires, etc, California is still receiving record tourism. Disneyland, and Universal Studios, and Knott's Berry Farm, etc, they are all doing great. Over one hundred and sixty thousand jobs are created in Orange County from tourism alone. Chrysalis is working on developing a relationship with Disney in order to get jobs for the homeless people working at Disneyland, and good things are happening.

The new trade deal with Canada and Mexico is a good start, now we need an improved trade deal with China, etc.

We will rise again, better than ever, and even during the bad times we are making great advances, and our advances will save us. And Trump needs to kick ass on our trade deals.

Salute,

Tony V.

After less than two years in office, Donald Trump has spent an astonishing 23 percent of his days playing golf, almost always on a course that he personally owns. The estimated cost to taxpayers of his leisure activity now stands at $83,000,000 and rising.

So glad Trump passed on the POTUS salary.

Wow

About 600k per round

Per day, yes.

And if it was a President with a (D) after his name you would be outraged.

I'm very sure you gleefully gobbled up Trump's criticisms of Obama's golfing like it was your momma's pecan pie.

Australia has just bought 75  F35 warplanes from USA.
First 2 left America the other day.

Gotta pay for them.
How does Australia get money, mostly?  Digging stuff up and selling it...coal, iron ore, uranium, gold etc.
Growing stuff and selling it...grain crops etc.
Breeding animals and selling them...sheep, cattle etc.
China is our largest trading partner.

Now the middle class in China has discovered our baby milk formula, cherries, cheese, beef and a long list of other things.

Australians have never been global leaders in anything but noxious bullshit.

Not true. They lead the world in DLPSM*, edging out the UK in a very close race.

Doesn’t matter if you have nukes or not. If anyone starts throwing nukes around You’re fucked either way.
You lot will revert to the most base form of homo sapien and fight one another to the death across vast swaths of nothingness for no real good purpose or reason.

Oh, yeah. Lots of vehicular mayhem and sadistic violence because it’s Australia, mate.

Jill Stein is good for something:

https://www.votingjustice.us/pa_recount_settlement_a_victory_for_voters_everywhere

But that it took 2 years of lawsuit to get PA to protect their voters is awful.

Wisconsin is still resisting.

That will stop in January, unless the GOP manages to totally castrate the government before they leave.

Ah yes...climate change.

"Climate change/global warming is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind" - no1 radio host.

I know I always take my science guidance from the radio hosts ahead of the thousands of scientists who say otherwise.

You remain a fool.

You dispute the fact that the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is 0.04%?
You dispute the fact that 97% of that CO2 occurs naturally?
You dispute the fact that CO2 is the source of all plant and tree life?

The climate is always changing.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2262843/Migrants-India-settled-Australia-4-000-years-ago-Captain-Cooks-arrival-took-dingos-them.html

Migrants from India settled in Australia 4,000 years ago before Captain Cook's arrival (and they took their dingos with them)

•Genes reveal that a wave of Indian migrants arrived 4,230 years ago
•Up to 11 per cent of Aboriginal DNA derives from Indians
•An earlier wave of migrants arrived about 45,000 years ago

Australia was settled by a wave of immigrants from India little more than 4,000 years ago, a genetic study shows.
The finding overturns the view that the continent was isolated from the time it was first colonised about 45,000-50,000 years ago until Europeans discovered Australia in the eighteenth century.

DNA evidence suggests that rather than complete most of the journey over several generations by foot, the Indian migrants came over by boat.
Australia’s first human colonisation was the culmination of the long walk out of Africa by the human species.

Humans are believed to have left Africa, via the Arabian coast and through India before reaching Indonesia and New Guinea and finally over an ancient land bridge to Australia.

By the time the Indian settlers reached Australia the ancient land bridge was under water so they sailed.

#####

A changing climate is nothing new.

15?
She looks about 8. [must be the cool climate]

She should be in school learning reading, riting, and rithmetic...and not getting involved in politics until she's an adult.
She should go do some research for herself instead of listening to the 'climate change' brigade.
