If you ever end up homeless and hungry out on the streets, in the morning you can go to any hotel or motel and you can get free coffee and doughnuts. Just tell them "Good morning!" and help yourself to their coffee and doughnuts.

Some places have free waffles too, they have waffle-makers.

I did it when I was homeless, and I was able to eat, it was great to be able to eat.

You can also get free coffee at any hospital.

Salute,

Tony V.

Ah yes...climate change.

"Climate change/global warming is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind" - no1 radio host.

I know I always take my science guidance from the radio hosts ahead of the thousands of scientists who say otherwise.

You remain a fool.

You dispute the fact that the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is 0.04%?
You dispute the fact that 97% of that CO2 occurs naturally?
You dispute the fact that CO2 is the source of all plant and tree life?

No.

I dispute that your facts are relevant.

Your recitation of what you think to be meaningful is like explaining that a claim that half a part per million of lead in the blood stream cannot be dangerous.

Or perhaps you would like to argue that arsenic and mercury are both natural, so how can they have a bad effect?!

I repeat: you are a fool for taking your science conclusions from a radio host rather than from science.

The climate is always changing.

Duh.

It is (a) the degree to which it is changing and (b) the side effects from these changes that are problematic.

Look at the mountains that feed water to those folks in India.

Look at the patterns of their monsoons and their general rainfall.

Check out the glaciers - before and after pictures from 100 years ago. Or those in Canada and Alaska. Are there a few glaciers growing? Last I looked, but 90% of them are shrinking a whole lot.

STOP SWALLOWING BULLSHIT!

Yes, the climate is always changing.

The current changes threaten our civiliation (or what passes for it) and possibly simply our lives. Even the Trump administration's scientists issued a report saying so, for all that he doesn't like it.

Australians have never been global leaders in anything but noxious bullshit.

Not true. They lead the world in DLPSM*, edging out the UK in a very close race.

*Drunken Louts per square mile.

LOL
Our consumption of alcohol is in decline.

Australia leads the world in signing nuclear non-proliferation treaties!
Not much good for defending herself.

Doesn’t matter if you have nukes or not. If anyone starts throwing nukes around You’re fucked either way.
You lot will revert to the most base form of homo sapien and fight one another to the death across vast swaths of nothingness for no real good purpose or reason.

Oh, yeah. Lots of vehicular mayhem and sadistic violence because it’s Australia, mate.

lol
You've been watching too much fantasy tv.

You’ve been watching and listening to too much conservative commentary.

15?
She looks about 8. [must be the cool climate]

She should be in school learning reading, riting, and rithmetic...and not getting involved in politics until she's an adult.
She should go do some research for herself instead of listening to the 'climate change' brigade.

Has to be among the funniest things that Mr. "The #1 Radio Talk Show Host said so" Bambi has said all year!

No, Bambi, you ignore her basic point, because you have bought a bill of goods that climate scientists are getting rich on this.

Their work exists whether there is climate change or not. The folks making money are the ones being paid to deny it because *their* supporters are the ones with the deep pockets.

So, stfu and stop attacking your betters - not "the liberal elite," but the 15 year olds who know better than to wait for your generation to get your heads out of your asses and act.

Speaking as someone who has formal training in geosciences and atmospheric physics that relates to climate change, I have given up on the denial brigade.  The sad fact is:  people don't know what they don't know and are very easily swayed by tiny slivers of information (usually way out of context) that have been spun into a lie.  Lots of money can buy any industry the shills they need to promote their lies.

And, though it's pointless to go into this, it ain't just CO2.  Methane has 10 to 20 times the potency, as a greenhouse gas, that CO2 does.  Rice farming, livestock, landfills, and well releases are all hugely ramping up the level of methane in the atmosphere.  Diesel soot is also a major player, because it deposit on ice fields and glaciers and hastens their melting by slightly darkening them and thus increasing their absorption of solar radiation.  There's also the fact that the ocean is losing its ability to absorb excess CO2 in the atmosphere, for various reasons.  Warming and acidification of seawater is destroying coral reefs, which are also a carbon sink we need.  Rainforest (especially bog forest, which stores 12 times the carbon per acre of regular rainforest) is being chopped down and burned off at horrifying speed in places like Indonesia where big multinationals are going all in on oil palm plantations.  Et fucking cetera.

I wonder if Dunning or Kruger fully anticipated the effect the internet would have on getting a sizeable chunk of the population to think they could master complex issues by means of clickbait and/or talk radio, and then putting "wisdom" on their names as a suffix.

The court filings are in the barrel or pre-barrel for Gates, Weissman, Sater as part of the Special Council inquires on top of what we get this week from Manafort and Flynn.

Trump is committing open obstruction through Twitter further demonstrating his knowledge of who else he knows to be criminally culpable. “Stay strong, Don Jr., stay strong Ivanka, not to mention all the Steves and Erics. Brad and Jarred, stay strong. You to Mitch and Mike.”

This is before the House even gets started or New York State shows any of its hand.

If it bleeds it leads.

Trump is bleeding from his you know what.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/03/opinions/china-us-trade-intl/index.html

The president missstates the China trade situation.

What else is new?

Stocks soaring today after Trump agreement with China.

They blinked.

This post did not age well.

So...

We spent $1.5 Trillion primarily on tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations in order to "supercharge" the economy and we've seen wages stay largely level, increase in employment rate stay level, only modest increases in productivity, and now the stock market is freaking out because there are fears we might be approaching a recession as 10-yr bond yields fall.

Money well spent, huh.

When the fuck are people going to learn?

Yada, yada, yada, et fucking cetra.
You might want to come up with some ideas on how to adapt to climate change instead of using the term as a dog whistle against capitalism.
Fossil fuels have enabled billions of people to escape poverty and/premature oblivion.  The Socialsts’ strategy is to make carbon more expensive so renewables will replace them. Trouble is nowhere in the world is anybody buying that malarkey.( check France for the latest rioting over the Macron proposed carbon tax.) It won’t fly anywhere since it will take the tax money, give it to the elitists in government bureaucracies and economic growth will dip to Obama levels and worse.
