For Kiiiiid:

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/08/politics/poll-of-the-week-trumps-favorite-pollster/index.html

Rasmussen was the least accurate on the midterms.

Terribly surprising.

They think Trump's approval is at 50%, too.

Why was all this dumped on Friday?
Would've made for a full week of headlines and follow-up if released on a Monday.

Usually it's the White House that does a Friday news dump.  As a journalist once said,  nobody reads the paper on Saturday.   Though I never watched,  the WW had a famous episode about the news dump.

Off topic, for a smile:

http://www.gosocial.co/at-residents-request-retirement-home-hires-male-strippers-to-serve-dinner/

When's the dinner with female strippers for male residents [and their sons and grandsons] of the retirement home?
Answer...the 12th of never.

When did they ask for one?

Never.

How many women to men in the retirement home?

Many to few (except where my father was, where it was few to many).

When's the dinner with misogynists, Bambi? Surely you know that!

On the EU, Brexit, and Britain.

The People seemingly want Brexit.
The ruling elite seemingly do not.

My guess is that the ruling elite will get their way.

You have it backwards on who wants what.

It remains to be seen what the result is, though a recent advisory from the EU court system said that the UK does not need the EU's permission to change their mind.

At the referendum the people of Britain voted to leave the EU.

Really?

Who knew?

Your analysis of the situation is sooooo astute!

No such thing as a Friday news dump anymore. Cable News has a 24/7 cycle, Friday’s have the 7-midnight analysis shows, Saturday’s have the specialized programs and of course the Sunday morning shows.

Plus, no one has to wait for the press runs anymore. Digital news platforms are fast and flexible.

I appreciate your fact check.  I hope others do, too.

The administration has a generally pro-business ideology that has often collided with the protection of public lands,  aquifers,  and air quality.   I hope your respect for facts leads you to a better understanding of those conflicts and how they affect our quality of life.

Islamic State 'is plotting chemical attack in Britain,' security chiefs warn

Security chiefs have warned a 'devastating' chemical weapons attack in Britain could be more likely than not, according to a report.
The warning reportedly comes after 'chatter' between senior Islamic State figures was intercepted.

And there are fears the London Underground could be the target of the detonation of a chlorine bomb, it is reported.

ISIS is believed to have been inspired by the Novichok poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury back in March.
Prior to this, the Government’s Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) reportedly assessed the risk of a chemical weapons attack at 25 percent.

#####

And that's the 'whole' problem.
bambu-ilk would've assessed the risk of a chemical weapons attack at 95% not 25%...and would've been doing something ultra-serious about it, starting 15 years ago.
Immigration bans, travel bans, travel restrictions. no more open society.
Trump knows all...but the usual suspects thwart him-ilk at every turn.

Britain was warned decades ago what would happen if it travelled a certain path...but rather than heed the warnings, they ran those doing the warnings out of town as 'racists'...and today Britain has what it has.
