Heh.
It's true
It matters not whether you agree with him on how to make the nation great.
You think you can safely hide behind this “agree to disagree” positioning but there are so, so many examples of actions/behavior that don’t even fit.
By no means an exhaustive list…
We can agree that bashing war heroes will not make the nation great, but the war hero criticized Trump.
We can disagree on how or whether or not to address the deficit, but I think we can agree that we are not great when the criteria for doing so is based on the blow-up happening only after Trump leaves office:
https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-on-coming-debt-crisis-i-wont-be-here-when-it-blows-upWe should be able to agree that we are not a great nation when tax policy is determined by what is best for Trump’s businesses.
We can agree that we are not great when we allow a US resident journalist to be brutally murdered without response but Trump’s company is making millions from the Saudis, and Kushner is the Prince’s buddy, so…
We can agree that bashing the media as an “Enemy to the American People” is obviously dangerous and damaging to our democracy and in no way makes us great, except that Trump and his supporters don’t like to be criticized.
We can agree that bowing and kowtowing to murderous oligarchs (currently preparing to invade Ukraine) is not making the nation great, but Trump is trying to build a hotel in Moscow and hey, these guys helped get him elected.
It isn’t what is best for the country. It’s what is best for Trump. Be it his political or financial fortunes. You and your party bending and distorting all logic in order to take a position that agrees with those fortunes is not agreeing to disagree about what is best for America. This is not on the Trump detractors. Its you distorting reality because in the end you like what he is doing on Immigration and Judges.
