I suppose I should note that the song's two parts are not gender specific - they are labeled "Wolf" and "Mouse" z and the second time it is sung in Neptune's Daughter - the song won an Oscar for that movie - Betty Garrett sung the Wolf Part and Red Skelton was the Mouse. The song has not aged well.
Maybe we can judge how well a song has aged by its covers:

Please ban Rudolph the RNR.  Promotes bullying and exclusion from group activities.  They wouldn't let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games.  I think it's worth a little overreach to expunge this pernicious behavior from our society!

Meanwhile, Jennifer Rubin targets WH nepotism...

Quote
In the course of the investigation, the committee may want to call public hearings and subpoena all relevant documents regarding Trump’s financial interests and benefits relating to the House of Saud, Kushner’s business interests relating to Saudi Arabia and why, despite public evidence that he was being manipulated by foreign governments, he continued to play such a critical role in foreign policy. (“Officials in at least four countries have privately discussed ways they can manipulate Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, by taking advantage of his complex business arrangements, financial difficulties and lack of foreign policy experience, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with intelligence reports on the matter,” The Post reported in February. “Among those nations discussing ways to influence Kushner to their advantage were the United Arab Emirates, China, Israel and Mexico, the current and former officials said.”)

Like many situations in the administration, this is a terrible one.

So a 74 years old song( Oscar winner to boot) Baby It’s Cold Outside now somehow  promotes “ date rape” to some in the @# metoo crowd?
In the PC world running amok is the only way to run.

I’m ok with people “running amok” when the intention is to combat sexism, sexual harassment, and assault.  However that effort may overreach, I can live with that.

I cannot live with politicians whose running amok entails criminal actions that are only part of their efforts to weaken our Democracy so that they may be elected with the purpose of further self-enrichment and corrupt alignment of what was once a beacon for good in the world with the likes of Russia and Saudi-Arabia.  That is the kind of running amok that concerns me.  Partly, but not only because, the leader of that effort is himself a confessed sexual assaulter.

I can understand why, for purely partisan reasons, your priorities are different.

I think as it was with your proclamation that “the Russia thing is over,” your “Trump is a patriot” is going to have a very short shelf-life before being disproven.

...as if it hasn’t been already.

She is the she in She and Him, isn't she? She must like the song.

Need to find my Leon Rebone Christmas album. Only version of Frosty the Snowman I can listen to without wanting to self harm.

As a cup bearer, Kiid can’t tell if he is the victim or the victimizer here, but as long as there is some kind of sex crime going on here he’s all on board.

If you are an American Kiid, it is you who are getting fucked. Take less opiates and you might be able to feel it.

Heh.

It's true

It matters not whether you agree with him on how to make the nation great.

You think you can safely hide behind this “agree to disagree” positioning but there are so, so many examples of actions/behavior that don’t even fit.

By no means an exhaustive list…

We can agree that bashing war heroes will not make the nation great, but the war hero criticized Trump.
We can disagree on how or whether or not to address the deficit, but I think we can agree that we are not great when the criteria for doing so is based on the blow-up happening only after Trump leaves office: https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-on-coming-debt-crisis-i-wont-be-here-when-it-blows-up
We should be able to agree that we are not a great nation when tax policy is determined by what is best for Trump’s businesses.
We can agree that we are not great when we allow a US resident journalist to be brutally murdered without response but Trump’s company is making millions from the Saudis, and Kushner is the Prince’s buddy, so…
We can agree that bashing the media as an “Enemy to the American People” is obviously dangerous and damaging to our democracy and in no way makes us great,  except that Trump and his supporters don’t like to be criticized.
We can agree that bowing and kowtowing to murderous oligarchs (currently preparing to invade Ukraine) is not making the nation great, but Trump is trying to build a hotel in Moscow and hey, these guys helped get him elected.

It isn’t what is best for the country.  It’s what is best for Trump.  Be it his political or financial fortunes.  You and your party bending and distorting all logic in order to take a position that agrees with those fortunes is not agreeing to disagree about what is best for America.   This is not on the Trump detractors.   Its you distorting reality because in the end you like what he is doing on Immigration and Judges.
