The Black Death and funding for fascists are in serious trouble.

Making the world unlivable by mining for fossil fuels will soon no longer be a profitable business.

Indeed.   Been trying to point this out for a couple years....

Quote
First, renewables are getting really cheap. In its recent solicitations, Xcel has gotten more bids for renewables, with more variety, for much cheaper. Wind and solar plants paired with storage are bidding in cheaper than the ongoing operating costs of existing coal plants. Renewables are even giving natural gas a run for its money.

...so I'm glad to see word getting out.   The key is better storage for having power supplies when peak demand and peak sunshine/wind don't match up.

if your first reaction to this is “what’s the big deal?” you’re a fucked up individual.

That was disgusting.  That said,  I still make a distinction between fucked up and just clueless.   But Prada,  even if the Sambo shit was unintentional, should apologize.  And the failure to do that IS fucked up.

Not the Circuit, just a single judge.

I know; reading is hard.

Poor, beleaguered Donald. Can't stand it when he is parodied by SNL.

Keeps wanting to make free speech go away.

Wah, wah, wah.

It’s biggest effect is in Utah. In WA, OR, CA, & NV everything you can purchase medically you can also purchase recreationally, just at a higher tax rate. It basically raises revenues collected from those who own guns and consume pot in the 9th circuit. It may convince a few patients to give up their guns to keep their med cost down which would be no bad thing. It is a bit regressive in that aspect. In Utah it doesn’t even have a tangible impact at the moment because they are slow walking the implementation of their medical program. Are you sure if the court ruled that it can be or that it must be a restriction in the states within its jurisdiction?

Individual 1’s coup in progress is mainly tragic with garish comic accents. Donald has douched himself into infamy as only donald can.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/03/opinions/china-us-trade-intl/index.html

The president missstates the China trade situation.

What else is new?

Stocks soaring today after Trump agreement with China.

They blinked.

Now down 1,700 since "they blinked." Lowest it's been since May. Down for the year, at this point.

Still up since his election and his inauguration. Sure hope it doesn't threaten those numbers, as it would be bad for the country (and I have a small amount in the market, myself). But hard to see how President Trump could make things better, at this point. More "agreements" like he had with China or North Korea seem likelier to lead to more losses than gains.

An image for the GOP to be ashamed of.

And he's standing with a Russian agent!

Incredible stuff here. Including the fact that Russia’s efforts redoubled after Trump took office.

And REDSTATEWARD thinks this was all about some Google ad buys. Lol.

But Rudy just went on TV to admit that Russian collusion happened and stopped before the election. It’s possible that Rudy only knows as much about his client’s involvement as he does about how the internet works.

If your lawyer sells you out publicly as to your involvement in the most serious of charges against you, are you sure you are still hiring the best people?
