Meanwhile, what has Tariff Man done?  He's spent $1.5 Trillion on tax cuts for the already wealthy with little discernible benefit to the economy.  It has led to record buybacks which are artificially floating stock prices, while the bond markets are predicting that we've already seen the best of this cycle and some are predicting a recession as early as next year.  Trump's tariffs?  Auto plant closings, and giving tens of billions on farmers who are getting killed by totally predictable and Trump-caused retaliation.  And to top it all off, a ballooning deficit accrued over a period of economic expansion that will make us less capable of recovering when the recession hits.

I don't really pray for the recession to come earlier than later, but if it woke up some of the zombie brigade before Nov. 2020, that might be a good thing.  It seems like the important news stories are the ones that don't seem to be reaching the people most affected by them.  This has been a problem for a long time, long before 45 arrived on the scene.

Who would "pray for a recession"?

Other than a foreign country.

No one prays for a recession, but if it's inevitable then timing could make a difference in how Trump admin is exposed in its bad governance before Nov. 2020.

I found this article about longer term global forecasters (and books they've written) to be somewhat disturbing....

Trump can pardon himself;

http://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/can-trump-pardon-himself/ar-BBR6zkE?li=AAgfYrC&OCID=AVRES000

On June 4, President Donald Trump tweeted, “As has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong?”

Well there you go.

Predictably, now the market becomes the be all and tell all of Trump's economy.

Now?

It was Trump] who made it two things: The stock market and jobs.

The stock market is not thriving.

And average income for workers has not gone up, relative to inflation.

I give him that more are working (and you have already seen that that was (a) a continuation of the trend from the prior administration and (b) predicted prior to Trump's election).

https://www.wnycstudios.org/story/new-senate-reports-detail-extent-russian-meddling-campaign

Yeah, we've known most of this. And briefly discussed this report.

But... this is the REPUBLICAN SENATE's report!

Russia interfered in the election in bunches of ways and far more widespread efforts than discussed before the report (especially by the GOP).

And kept interfering, trying to pull down Mueller.

And for whose benefit were these efforts made? Donald Trump.

The same Donald Trump whose lawyer recently admitted discussions of Trump Tower Moscow went on far longer than previously known, well into the campaign, complete with a penthouse for Putin.

(Cue Bambi to tell us that it cannot be collusion because Trump said so and besides, Trump said collusion was not a crime. And he can pardon himself, anyway.)

Judge delays Flynn sentence.
https://www.yahoo.com/gma/michael-flynn-trump-ally-turned-key-mueller-witness-090803417--abc-news-topstories.html
What does that mean, legally and politically?

The delay was to allow Flynn more of an opportunity to prove his worth to prosecutors before the Judge throws the book at him.

Politically, today was not a good day for Trump & Co claiming that Flynn was tricked into lying, FBI acted inappropriately, yada yada.  Flynn admitted to lying, knew lying to the FBI was a crime.  Then Judge Sullivan called him out on selling out the country.

Can only hope the judge at Trump's trial(s) speaks so plainly.

And what does the White House have to say to this?

"Maybe he did do those things, but that doesn't have anything to do with the President directly."

LOL.

Trump "charity" to be dissolved.

This is bad news to the main beneficiary of Donald Trump's charitable foundation.  Donald Trump.

Wish I could say that was mine...

So what does REDSTATEWARD say when there is evidence that shows that Trump used the Foundation for personal pay-offs, and illegally coordinated fundraising with his campaign, all things he accuses Clinton of doing, without evidence?

Now Individual 1’s foundation is gone which is next to go, his organization or his administration?

I’d guess the administration since NYS has a lot more to unravel than Mueller does at this point.

Neither the school nor the police had a responsibility to protect the children, according to the judge.
