Give it up. Trump has always sucked at negotiation “in real life.”

Even his most reliable Washington Post apologist has written a “Captain Obvious” piece...

Michael Gerson is a Trump apologist?   With all deference to the fact that you probably read a lot more news than I do, my sightings of Gerson on the PBS Newshour have not been of anyone remotely in DT's corner.

Mea culpa! Mixed him up with Theissen!

Hickenlooper/Cortez - the libation ticket for a thirsty nation.  Looper is a brewer, AOC was a bartender.  There will be no "beermergency" in their administration!
AOC will have to wait for 2024, when she turns 35, though I doubt that she and Hick will challenge Harris / O'Rourke, what with their 62% favorable rating.

Probably for the best.  She would only have one term to accomplish anything and that would be for naught.

I’d say we would need to see how the ticket actually performs in office before speculating on their reelection chances.
You may want to pay attention to what she has already predicted.

Trump must be doing a really bad job on the economy.
I notice you quoted no statistics on the state of the economy.

Where is the anti-gun uproar today after 4 HOU cops were shot by drug runners possessing illegal weapons?

No minority kid to use as a pawn?  Dont want to seem pro cop?

Welp...

LOL.  I sincerely hope you are being ironic here.

Unfortunate given your history that we can't be sure.

Law enforcement has consistently been in favor of stricter gun laws.  The NRA and Republicans ignore them, and actually work against their interests.

Now kidcarter8 wants to highlight the dangers law enforcement officers face every day against a well-armed populace, but thinks he is dunking on the libs by only facing that reality now?

Jeeezus.

LOL again.  Guess you weren’t being ironic.

REDSTATEWARD, I inserted that last line for good reason.  In the past when I pointed out that there has been no Trump bump in the economic numbers (and in fact the Obama economy outperformed the period when Trump has been in charge when it came to job creation) your response has only been that if Obama’s economy was so solid, Hillary Clinton would have been elected.

So turning around that numbers-less argument, it follows that Trump’s polling being where it is re: his reelection chances, he must be doing a horrible job on the economy. Or you can admit that election results cannot be quoted to support whatever policy you happen to endorse at the time.

That you can’t follow the simple application of your dumb argument when it isn’t being used to support your guy is, as my "LOLs" are meant to convey, hilarious.

For the record; The latest daily tracking poll has Trump at 45% approval. If polls are your grade card for the economy what is your point?

For the record Trump is not ' my guy'.
But I like his economic policies that basically are conservative.
Despite his tweets, missteps, and scandals the economy had a great 2018.
That's why you don't want to talk about it, just cite polls.
If polls are the end-all what are Nancy Pelosi numbers?

Is exploding the deficit "basically conservative" or does that make him a "socialist cocksucker?"

You might want to read up on Howard Schultz.  He puts the deficit at the top of his list of problems to solve.
Don't worry, I won't tell him you are a democrat.

Mark Cuban had the line of the day for the Josh Toadies of the democrats

If 21 months before an election you don’t believe your candidate’s platform is strong enough to win an election with independent candidates, you might want to rethink who you support.

I'm pretty sure all my toadies are supporting other candidates.

And there is a reason I support Ranked Choice Voting - it prevents a candidate from winning with 35% of the vote.
