I suppose if it keeps him off the golf courses, the country will save money, despite the $50,000 spent in it.

And all the changing stories from the Trump folks about their contact with Russia.
https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2019/politics/trump-team-russia-then-now/

So many stories. So little honesty.

Kind of like some of our posters on the same topic!

I'm sure that a staff member chose a book to display and opened it to the offensive passage for that display without the congressman's being aware that it was there.

I also believe in the Easter Bunny.

It should probably say "the first 44 of our 45 presidents," because otherwise 45 will misinterpret it.

But it is clear to everybody who is honest with themselves about it.

Migrants are no problem in the United States. Wealthy vultures are by far the biggest problem. We can use the support the migrants bring to our economy along with their enlivening of our culture. We need to pluck and shackle the damn vultures before they eat all the opportunity that is left. Maximizing shareholder value will be the death of us all. Carve that on your bollard and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

News today, to be filed under “the Russia Thing is Over:”

Judge rules that, by a preponderance of the evidence, Paul Manafort lied about conspiring with Konstantin Kilimnik during the campaign and in early days of Trump Admininistration.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/13/us/politics/manafort-mueller.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

A week after Manafort passed Trump's internal poll data to Kilimnic, a Russian military intelligence trained guy who'd been passing messages from Manafort to another GRU guy who worked for Deripaska, Deripaska met with the indicted head of the troll farm and Putin.

DHS has dramatically downsized two election security teams. And DHS officials say they are concerned about it.

kidcarter8, tell him it’s $3 Billion!...

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/13/us/politics/deal-government-shutdown.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage

That did not completely assuage conservatives. Representative Mark Meadows, Republican of North Carolina and the chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, contradicted the White House line and declared that the agreement was “a bad deal for the president.”

“Only in Washington, D.C., can we start out with needing $25 billion for border security measures and expect applause at 1.37,” he said Tuesday on Fox News. “I mean, only in D.C. is that a winning deal.”

Of course what someone really needs to tell Congressman Meadows is that no one in Washington possibly thinks this is a winning deal for Trump.

Meanwhile over at CNN< some snotnose named John Berman has the audacity to hit BACK at a West Virginia Congresswoman (sorry - SENATOR) who corrected him on a drug bust that had occurred at the border - spouting incorrect info in a superior fashion.  No respect at all for a woman whose people in WVA have been hit hard by the OXY/FENTANYL/HEROIN surge .

(At issue was a heroin bust that occurreed NOT at a port of entry, as superior deuche Berman kept on about.  Video if I can find it)

Found it - at 18:45 below

Confrontation I cite is about 23:15
