Gee, all those other presidents managed to disbelieve bullshit when they heard it. They managed to avoid saying to the press that they believed these liars. And our country seems to have survived their doing so and so did our businesses.

Yes, I would have him call them liars - but since he only calls people liars who are attacking him I had no expectations that he would do so, just a wish that he had the guts or self-awareness to see how he is being played... again.

In the real world, Trump would never have gone to Vietnam to meet this man who has been lying to him about their nuclear program, among other things. But he believes what his ghost writer said about him in Art of the Deal.

Not long ago, the GOP's welcome for convicted liar Elliot Abrams was warm and fuzzy.

Yesterday, they were all over Michael Cohen for being a liar.

Today, they were back welcoming Ollie North to CPAC.

GOP needed to signal that despite Trump being living proof that every argument they had against Obama was bad faith bullshit, they in no way have the self respect not to dredge up all those same arguments once a Democrat is in charge again.
