Meanwhile....

(from AZ Central report)

Quote
"Our country is sovereign, our State is sovereign, our family is sovereign, our God is sovereign and the most holy and sacred last frontier of sovereignty is our own body," Townsend wrote. "Folks, I am going to ask you to educate your children, educate your family, educate those around you about the fundamentals of liberty and what that means. It seems we have lost those fundamentals along the way and are chasing our fears."

My take is that she supports a woman's right to choose.  That's all I can infer from "last frontier of sovereignty is our own body...."
She is supportive of one's right to choose to NOT have an abortion. Other rights, not so much.

Don't evade the question.  Is Trump justified in believing Kim Jong Un's statements about Warmbier?  Is any rational person?

Are the parents right to rebuke Trump?  Yes or no.

They have about 120,00 in captivity.  Are you saying Kim knows every case?

Every American case, yes. Every western case, also yes. They were his most valuable assets until he captured America’s weakest citizen, trump.

Gee,

1) all those other presidents managed to disbelieve bullshit when they heard it.
2) They managed to avoid saying to the press that they believed these liars.

2 different things altogether.  As we know, Trump speaks his mind 20 times more than others that held his office.

Or what passes for one.

And one of the things that passes for it is intentionally framed lies.

So in your mind it’s better that he sincerely believes despot strongmen (this particular one, a guy who had his brother killed via nerve agent) over his own intelligence agencies vs. it being a political calculation?

Nope

What I mean is that just because other presidents didn't say certain things doesn't mean they weren't thinking it.

And as we know the press grills Trump more than others due to his willingness to converse.

Boy, do you have things backwards.

As for lying...

Not long ago, the GOP's welcome for convicted liar Elliot Abrams was warm and fuzzy.

Yesterday, they were all over Michael Cohen for being a liar.

Today, they were back welcoming Ollie North to CPAC.

Amoral hypocrites, the bunch of them.

Ollie is a legend and will always be welcome there.

That's the guy who liked under oath for Reagan. Legend.

Whatever that means.

Michelle Goldberg gets it exactly right here:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/28/opinion/meadows-tlaib.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage

Meadows gets treated as the victim after his racist action is called out as racism.  White privilege in a nut-shell.

Ah yes...'White Nationalism' is the big sin.

 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_nationalism

White nationalism is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism which espouses the belief that white people are a race[1] and seeks to develop and maintain a white national identity.[2][3][4] Its proponents identify with and are attached to the concept of a white nation.[5] White nationalists say they seek to ensure the survival of the white race, and the cultures of traditionally white ethnic groups.
They hold that white people should maintain their majority in majority-white countries, maintain their political and economic dominance, and that their cultures should be foremost.[4]
Many white nationalists believe that miscegenation, multiculturalism, immigration of nonwhites and low birth rates among whites are threatening the white race,[6] and some believe these things are being promoted as part of an attempted white genocide.[6]

#####

Why would they not think like that when they see that young Asian guy program host on my tv the other night saying "get rid of old White men". ...with it just seemingly accepted by the other young hosts and society in general.

Black nationalism is a type of nationalism or pan-nationalism in the United States that seeks to promote, develop and maintain a black national identity for people of black ancestry.[1]

Black nationalist activism revolves around social, political, and economic empowerment of black communities and people, especially to resist assimilation into white American culture (through integration or otherwise), and maintain a distinct black identity.[1]

#####

Oh dear.

No worries, Black people in America get their own flag, own race, and basically own nation...like Aboriginal people in Australia.
Two flags, two races, and basically two nations.

Neville Trump visits Kim.

The thing about the comic, above, is that plenty of world leaders did believe Hitler, as you point out! Nor was it only Chamberlain who did so.

And so many refused to believe the stories as they came out of Germany and the affiliated countries.

Then again, we have those same sorts of folks busy trying to deny that the problems the refugee/asylum-seeking families and children are having are the fault of the Trump administration.

ICE with their insistence that abuse in their facilities is not their fault, etc.
