Republicans don't just believe they have to cheat; they believe they have to cheat a lot. They're probably right about that. Without the two-ton thumb on the scale in favor of Republicans, they wouldn't, in their current form, win anything much except regional elections in the Deep South and some parts of the Midwest. Rather than moderate or adjust their views to win elections in a rapidly changing America, they have embraced a darker agenda: trying to crush fair and free democratic elections.

After all of Red’s carefully thought out arguments the final judgement is in on HR1 and the filth who oppose it.

That makes no sense.

Calling a bill that seeks greater and equal access to voting a “power grab” doesn’t make sense.

Unless you think your party somehow benefits from fewer people (particularly fewer people of a certain type) voting.

Everyone that has turned 18 gets to vote - with no registration?

So, they go by what, the census?

Nothing says "Swamp: Drained" like a Chinese foreign agent who owns human trafficking handjob spas of the type frequented by the owner of the New England Patriots making money off of providing access for Chinese Executives to the President of the United States at an exclusive Florida golf club that he still owns and profits from:

Once again, I recommend tha you take a remedial reading course rather than burden us with the expectation of dumbing comments down.

Except to the extent that Congress passes rules about them that change how those elections are run. And except to the extent that the courts rule that how the states are running them is wrong and make rulings to change how those elections are run. Plus the other approach, which is only one of them - amending the Constitution.

But you keep only believing the parts of the Constitution that say what you want them to say. Have a good time.

Not sure where you are confused here.  The subject of our conversation is clear, and you yourself call HR1 a "power grab" two sentences later.

There is nothing actually confusing about McConnell describing rules to make it easier to vote "a political power grab" by the Democrats.  But if you want to ask him what he meant by that, I'd suggest you do so. Only know you probably aren't going to get the truth, because he already described the true intentions of the GOP's vote suppression schemes more than he intended.

Red works diligently in the George Wallace - Brooksbrothers Riot tradition.

Some people work hard to get dumb enough to pull it off. To others it comes naturally.

I was asking what power you were referring to?
Since elections are adminstered by the 50 STATES.
