The oldest international organization that the USA has joined is the Organization of American States...
http://www.oas.org/en/member_states/default.aspThen there is the United Nations, which we all belong to, but the U.N. has not met up to expectations, we had Eleanor Roosevelt who wanted to improve human rights for all of God's children, with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at the United Nations, but she was dealing with guys like Stalin, so she did not get far.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Declaration_of_Human_Rights And I knew it was you Bambu!
We as a planet have come a long way in regard to human rights, and women's rights, and on civil rights here in the USA, we have made progress, but there is still a long way to go.
Another issue is the many homeless people in the Middle East, from Syria, and from other places. UNICEF is feeding the homeless children, and there are camps for the homeless people, etc, and they have classes for the children, etc. We must create peace in the Middle East so that the people can stay in their homes, they need to feel safe in their own homes, and there must be education and jobs right there in their home areas. We have a chance to really improve human rights, and women's rights, in the Middle East, in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in Syria, Egypt, and in Libya, etc. We have the chance to create the foundation for a more peaceful future with that part of the world.
And yes, Bambu, the USA rejects any idea of an international court. The USA would never allow ourselves to go before an international court, and we would reject any punishment.
Salute,
Tony V.
