Barr will ultimately fail to obstruct while confirming further obstruction. The espionage, colloquially described as collusion, is mapped through cutouts not government entities.

Meanwhile the kind of criminals who get Red and Kiddums horny are inflating our debt while snipping away our life expectancy in their typical fiasco fashion.

It’s sad watching the republican world devolve and crumble. At least it won’t be around much longer.

The republican world will rise again...it just needs to make sure the borders are secure, there's free basic healthcare for all Americans, and the Party has a social mind.

OK, so that narrows it down.

You want a man to win the primary.

Yeah, I can see you backing Booker or Behto.

Sounds like a middle of the road Democratic administration.

We can export the republicans to Australia. They’ll fit right in and maybe learn a thing or two in the process.

Conservatives will rise again, when those in the Christian West who left to join the 'green dream' wake up to themselves.

Greens climate policy is 'driven by the science': Bandt

Greens plan would end Australia’s first world lifestyle

Peta Credlin

For many years now, Labor’s primary vote has been so low that they can’t win many seats in their own right hence the power of the Greens. And with each election, as the Greens push out a more radical agenda, Labor over time, shifts to left to do their bidding, in order to survive.

The Greens latest plan, out last week, is to immediately stop all new coal mines and all new gas fields; and to eliminate all coal exports, all coal-fired power generation, and even all gas-fired power generation by 2030; and also to ban from then, any new petrol or diesel-fuelled cars.

When coal and gas are two of our biggest exports and help fund our hospitals, schools, defence assets and schemes such as the NDIS, this is worse than socialism masquerading as environmentalism; it’s the end of the sort of first world lifestyle Australians enjoy today.

The end game for the Greens is to up-end the way we live, up-end differences between nations so that there are no real borders, flatten out incomes so there’s no incentive to work (god knows where they think the money for their giant welfare state will come from?), remove gender, dissolve the power of the family, and grow the role of government in the lives of its citizens.

And key to all of this — the control and the money to make it all happen is, the “climate change emergency”.

It’s all there in black and white, in the Renew Australia policy document released by the Greens last week. But what they leave out of course, is how much poorer most people would be, if their New Age fantasies were ever to become government policy.

Americas are so lucky that Trump isn't playing the 'Paris' green game.

The oil companies have equity, they can simply transform that wealth and equity into the green economy. The same with the coal, they just transform from coal to the green economy. You just shift the wealth.

And of course I like it when the people own their own power companies, like Anaheim does, with some of the money from the cost of electricity going into the general fund to be used by the people however they want, they can help the homeless, they can build new parks, etc, etc, etc.

There are many aspects to the green economy that will create opportunities. Instead of digging in their heels, people need to look for ways to prosper with the new green economy.

Salute,

Tony V.

Renewables ‘have won the race’ against coal and are starting to beat natural gas

Quote
The rapidly dropping cost of renewable energy has upended energy economics in recent years, with new solar and wind plants now significantly cheaper than coal power.

But new research shows another major change is afoot: The cost of batteries has been declining so unexpectedly rapidly that renewables plus battery storage are now cheaper than even natural gas plants in many applications, according to a report released this week by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).

BNEF analyzed pricing data from almost 7,000 power projects in 46 countries that span 20 energy technologies, including coal, gas, nuclear, battery storage, solar photovoltaics (PV), and wind.

They report that electricity prices “for onshore wind, solar PV and offshore wind have fallen by 49 percent, 84 percent and 56 percent respectively since 2010.” Costs for lithium-ion battery storage have dropped 76 percent since 2012 — and plunged 35 percent in the past year alone.

OK, so that narrows it down.

You want a man to win the primary.

Yeah, I can see you backing Booker or Behto.

You do have a hard time getting people's names straight. I suppose that explains why you spell yours with so many iii in a row.

I can't see supporting Beto, Biden, or Bernie. Booker I have doubts about, but not as many as with the other three. Buttigieg is on the young (roughly Gabbard's age) and inexperienced side, but we will see him more down the road. He has a lot of promise.

No guys who don't have a B leading their last or first names are permitted to enter. DiBlasio (Bill) could join in, but he has terrible numbers - got 20 people at an event in NH! Inslee, Delaney, Moulton, and many others are out. No "B" in their initials. Bloomberg could have run, but oh well! Gore, Carter, and Dukakis fail on the B count.

The women are not restricted the same way. They can use any letters they want. Gillibrand and Gabbard are pushing for a G requirement, but I don't think two names will do it. Kamala and Klobuchar want it to be a K restriction; Kirsten could go along with that. EW's not concerned.

Smells like a tipping point. No wonder Petro-klepto-autocrats are playing all cards with little regard to long term repercussions on the downside. To them, the status quo is all downside.

Lovely gardens and energy harvesters set up in the coal fields.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-31/trump-cuts-aid-to-central-american-countries-as-migrant-crisis/10957000

New Jersey senator Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Mr Trump's order a "reckless announcement" and urged Democrats and Republicans alike to reject it.

March is on track for 100,000 border apprehensions, according to US officials, which would be the highest monthly number in more than a decade.

New Jersey senator Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Mr Trump's order a "reckless announcement" and urged Democrats and Republicans alike to reject it.

Homeland Security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen warned Congress on Thursday that the Government faced a "system-wide meltdown" as it tried to care for more than 1,200 unaccompanied children and 6,600 migrant families in its custody.

Mr Trump has so far been unable to convince Congress to tighten asylum laws or fund his border wall. He has declared a national emergency to justify redirecting money earmarked for the military to pay for the wall.

If I were Trump I would withdraw...put all the phones on voicemail, go play golf, go bowling at the White House, watch movies, relax in a hot tub, walk along the seashore, luxuriate in my 'compounds' etc, ...open the Mexican border and let anyone and everyone walk in, and detain no one.
I'd tell Congress, and 'We the People', that I was giving them what they obviously want...and if they get sick of open borders and asylum-seekers/illegal immigrants to contact me by email/phone/letter.

Heh.

I'm going to stop posting article excerpts here.  (see previous post)  I was cut/pasting for the benefit of those who hit paywalls, but realize no one reads them.  You should read Nobel prize winners, though, on trumponomics.

You're not going to understand who a narcissist is, if you only read his own version of things.

Two points:

One, withdrawing and taking no further action as president is the best policy we could ever hope for from trump.

Two, your plan illustrates your mental makeup and explains why Australia has put you out to pasture.

Barton, I read your excerpts and many of the links you post. I appreciate the info and hope you continue.

Two, what he's doing now sure isn't working for him.
He's wasting his time trying to seal the border, as the People/Congress obviously want open borders and 'huddled masses' allowed to walk in by the 'millions'. Now that the floodgates have been opened, it will be eventually be millions.
Waste of time trying to fight Congress and the People...golf/hot tub/bowling, much more pleasant.
