Neither side wants children shot in school. The question is would the society be safer with secure borders or a large influx of desperate people from violent dysfunctional situations.

Not a binary choice.  Your question is front-loaded with assumptions.  Fact is, school shootings are almost entirely by native-born.  Fact is, the influx of illegal immigrants has dropped precipitously since 2007.  The recent uptick is legitimate asylum seekers, not the violent gangs who have driven them out of their homes in C. America.

Should we have deported Jewish people fleeing Nazi Germany?  What about Cambodians fleeing Pol Pot?  Russians fleeing Stalin?  They were desperate, and they came from a violent dyfunctional situation.  Did their arrival make us less safe?

My best guess is that people fleeing violent situations are seeking the most peaceful way to live.

Comparing apples and oranges. True asylum seekers in a different historic setting with an enormous mass migration straining the very fabric of society. Violence breeds violence. Mainly the liberal elites are playing the school shooting card. Nothing about illicit drugs from south of the border or m13 bodies at public parks or terrorist attacks.

You’re talking about the violent dysfunctional white people committing the bulk of these mass shootings, right?

These motherfuckers been running around in this country terrorizing my people for centuries, how safe am I around assholes like you?

White guy killed my cousin in church because he couldn’t get laid and decided it was the fault of the people who invited him into their  sanctuary and prayed with and for him, before he murdered them.

I should be deathly afraid of some brown motherfuckers who might get into the country yet ignore the white terrorists who are born and raised here?

Only a racist, xenophobic asshole can twist that bullshit into some kinda pretzel logic.

You do know MS-13 ain’t coming here in numbers because they’re the guys people are fleeing from in El Salvador. Like the Crips, Blood, and the Aryans the bodies dropped by MS-13 are being left by members who are recruited right here in the USA.

Vast majority of the drugs that come through the southern border come through the points of entry.

Also how come no one ever attaches the drug trade to capitalism? Laws of supply and demand. No demand for drugs, no supply.

Voyage of the Damned, 1976, pretty good movie with a star-studded cast.  The apology the US later made for turning them away would hold up better if we weren't doing the same thing now.

She doesn't necessarily feel like that

Shame on the adult that gave her the sign.

Shame on your guardian for allowing you access to a computer.

I am sure you think the Parkland kids and Greta Thunberg are all being manipulated by adults, too.

YOU are being manipulated, Kiiid, but you are too unwilling to question for you to figure that out.

All of the people who spent their money using Chinese slave labor instead of American workers are now suffering as the price for Chinese goods goes higher and higher. They should have invested in Nebraska instead of in China.

California lost over 500,000 jobs to China, and I say raise those tariffs on Chinese goods even higher!

And we will make those who thought that slave labor in China was okay, we will make them pay for our high speed trains.

Tourism creates over 160,000 jobs in Orange County, California, alone, and that number will grow when we build our high speed trains, including a high speed train between Anaheim and Las Vegas. The tourists will love our high speed trains.

Also, we should use some of the money from the tariffs for redevelopment money here in the USA to help people who lost jobs to China, and for small business loans here in the USA.

Salute,

Tony V.

Who on Earth do you think is going to be suffering from this, Tony?

The people who invested in China?!

No, average Americans are going to suffer.
