So, Ward - which of the items on the right side of this image do you recognize as being worth doing?

My fav. Seth Moulton but he is unlikely winner. All are very quiet on immigration.

What is it about Seth Moulton that makes him your favorite?

He is a veteran, definitely not a liberal elitist or a socialist. His signature plan hints at FDR

Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., a 2020 presidential candidate and Iraq war veteran, released his "National Service Education Guarantee" plan Sunday to encourage young Americans to serve their country -- in the military, in AmeriCorps, in FEMA Corps or, in what he would create if elected, the "Federal Green Corps” tasked with combating climate change and helping the environment.

He’s trying to up his profile to get into the Senate to fill Warren’s seat should she become President, VP, or take a seat in the cabinet. He’ll be out after the first debate, but the whole shenanigan will give him a boost and put money in his account. He seems politically similar to Dick Lugar who recently passed on.

I’m starting to lean towards Booker as a guy who’s ready and able and who could dance all over trump.

Moulton’s plan is excellent. It should become a plank in the platform and eventually an operating program under a Democratic administration.

The Times said the transactions in question, some of which involved Trump’s now-defunct foundation, set off alerts in a computer system designed to detect illicit activity, according to the former bank employees.

Compliance staff members who reviewed the transactions prepared suspicious activity reports they believed should be sent to a unit of the US treasury that polices financial crimes, according to the newspaper.

Trump said the “fake media … always uses unnamed sources (because their sources don’t even exist)”. But one former Deutsche Bank employee, Tammy McFadden, who reviewed some of the transactions, spoke to the Times on the record. She said she was fired last year after raising concerns about the bank’s practices, the Times said.

That it COULD occur under newly proposed legislation is the point you are missing

That Kid seems to think that his favorite twitter folks bring any intellect to any issue or discussion because of the mere fact that they have a twitter account is hardly surprising.

We had this discussion already, where that assertion (that a woman about to give birth to a viable child can have it aborted) was fact checked and found false.  I not only didn't miss that point but was one of the Elbans who engaged with it.  Try to keep up.

And, if you recall, I acknowledged that, on a personal level, I would support a woman deciding that she could not, in good conscience, abort a third trimester baby because I recognize that it could be sentient, aware of suffering, and viable outside the womb.   I only support third trimester abortion where the fetus is not viable and abortion would forestall suffering.  IOW, acts of mercy.

Real estate developers like Mr. Trump and Mr. Kushner sometimes do large, all-cash deals, including with people outside the United States, any of which can prompt anti-money laundering reviews. The red flags raised by employees do not necessarily mean the transactions were improper.

Bring some real shit, idiot.

And a bank that does frequent business with Real estate developers has no way of evaluating which all-cash deals require no further review, and which should be investigated by the US Treasury?  Your paragraph makes the obvious point that just because this recommendation was made does not mean they were guilty of doing something illegal.  But the point is the recommendation was made and did not go anywhere because the bank didn’t want to piss of the President of the United States, not because the concerns had no merit.

Really, the point should be that companies the “President” still profits from are continuing to make deals that have the potential to be shady illegal influence peddling/money laundering and the civil servants in question (our “President” and the son-in-law who is still on the public pay-roll despite everything he does in that role being a joke) seem to have no interest in the transparency that should be a given in the job.  It’s all above board?  Great.  Prove it.  It is 100% your responsibility to do so, and failing to do it is in and of itself an abdication of duty.
