No evidence of a larger conspiracy
- which is what many of you stood by all along.
Just repeating something a second time does not make it any less wrong.
Mueller today:
The first volume of the report details numerous efforts emanating from Russia to influence the election. This volume includes a discussion of the Trump campaign's response to this activity as well as our conclusion that there was insufficient evidence to charge a broader conspiracy.Insufficient evidence is not no evidence. And the evidence (the emails, the meetings, the sharing of polling data, the hundreds of contacts, the contacts they lied about, the fact that the Campaign knew about the stolen emails before the FBI did and said nothing to them while lying to the public, the fact that the campaign freely disseminated the material that they knew was stolen and provided by Russia...) was well known before Mueller compiled it in his report.
Yes, I would say based on what we know there was collusion. Mueller could not find enough evidence to charge Conspiracy, that does not absolve our duty, as citizens, to ensure the disloyal and unpatriotic attacks on our Democracy perpetrated by Trump and his campaign are not rewarded a second time.
Except some citizens think tax cuts and judges are more important than that.
And by the way, "many of us stood by" the obstruction issue as well, real time.
