Will the Supreme Court grant trump work release to attend the republican national convention?

Impeach Kavanaugh:

Pretty much.
On what grounds?

Try reading the first post in this series, if you can manage it, Ward.
Try explaining it.

The U.S. Supreme Court turned away challenges to a federal law that requires registration of gun silencers, the accessory that has drawn new scrutiny after it was used in a mass shooting in Virginia.

Kettler and Cox argued that the Constitution’s Second Amendment guarantees the right to own a silencer.

Nice to start the day with a belly laugh.  Whew!  Thanks.

You:  The high probability of an innocent person being killed by an untrained professional carrying a firearm into a high stress situation is bad.

Interesting take on Biden vacillation from Michael Gerson....

Quote
.....This has left nearly monolithic parties to appeal to a more ethically complex country. A 2018 Gallup poll found 29 percent who believe abortion should be legal in all circumstances, 14 percent in most circumstances, 35 percent in few circumstances and 18 percent in no circumstances. So nearly 8 in 10 Americans believe that abortion should be available in all or some circumstances. And nearly 7 in 10 believe that abortion should be restricted in all or some circumstances.

Biden’s traditional position on this issue — that there should be a difference in government’s role in “the first day and the ninth month” — could effectively appeal to a country with these views. And his opposition to federal funding of abortion was one of the last remaining ways for a Democratic politician to tell Catholics (and others) that their ethical concerns have some degree of merit. Now, a Democratic presidential nominee is not allowed even a hint of reticence. Abortion must be supported and funded as a positive good.

The moral question is obvious: How does this allow Biden to live with his Catholic conscience? But the political implications are also relevant. Biden has made it harder — significantly harder — for cultural conservatives who are disturbed by Trump’s cruelty and prejudice to vote for Biden, should he be his party’s nominee.

Biden, for now, has little concern for Trump's  base.  He has to win the  democrat nomination first.
Then he can soften or change his abortion views.

So, if more lives are put at risk than might be saved, how is this a net win, in your oh so humble opinion, Kiiid?

Do the statistics on gun deaths have zero impact on your thinking?!

Your argument in favor of more guns is like the arguments against seat belts. "But look! This person was saved by not having a seat belt!" Or about there no longer being racism because Obama got ahead or our being a meritocracy because Air BNB. "Sure, 98% of all glaciars are in retreat, but these couple aren't, so there is no global warming!"

These are all claims that low incidence events make the overall position stronger than its strong majority of events.

I think that is going to be my mantra in response to almost anything Ward, Kiiid, or Bambi-ignorance support and about 70% of Luee's.

"And FUCK the lives that could be saved!"

I know you want an argument (dont you always?) but this post is so bad it doesnt deserve a response from anyone, let alone me.
