Got to keep an eye on those crazy gringos. Now they have concentration camps, they will probably want to go annex something.

Crime spree. Barr has replaced Cohen who replaced Cohn.
Republicans waddle in slime.
---In 2017, the total cost of illegal immigration for the United States – at the federal, state, and local levels – was approximately $116 billion.---

While I'm mystified why you think you post has anything to do with facilitatorn's post, I'm going to respond to yours, anyway.
My biggest problem with the publication is that it doesn't tell us how they came up with the figures. Maybe I'm misssing a footnote, but no idea where it would be.
Let me give you an example: Massachusetts ostensibly has 236,000 illegal aliens and they have had 80,000 kids, of whom 68,000 are in the public schools - costing $8,487 per kid. Their number for MA is lower than Pew's but double the Migration Policy Institute's figures. The figure for number of children seems quite off, as well. And the per student estimating is... random. Instuctional Spending in 2016 was $9,713/child,
but the
total spending per kid was $15,593! So, where on Earth does $8487/kid come frrom?!
And that's assuming the average. Many of the kids are likely to end up near Boston. Boston = $20,776.83; Cambridge = $26,778.44; etc. (2017 $$) How does one get that figure?
Conversely, their numbers are higher for Maine, NH, or VT than Pew, by a significant percentage. They think half of the VT kids are in school. They think 85% of the Mass kids are. 75% of NH kids. Half in Maine. 84% in Alabama.
No explanation and total randomness.
This is just the failure of rationality piece, but it gets worse.
They ignore a ton of the taxes that the people pay. They ignore the impact of their spending money. But biggest of them all...
They ignore the impact of the
adult children of past illegal aliens, who are citizens contributing to this country in all the ways other citizens do. It's as if once they turn 18 and leave the schools, they disappear.
It doesn't work that way.
