Of course, we don't have open borders and nobody is advocating them.

8 Purpose-Driven Businesses Uplifting Those on the Margins

Ingrid Cruz

May 15, 2019

https://www.kcet.org/shows/broken-bread/8-purpose-driven-businesses-uplifting-those-on-the-margins

------------------

Groups such as Homeboy Industries and Chrysalis can be hooked up with the homeless, as the homeless people are helped and as they are given drug rehab at camps, etc, after they get clean and sober the groups can help to give them jobs so that they can work and take care of themselves.

Of note too, is that dog groomers can earn $50,000.00 per year or more, so the homeless people need to be taught how to groom dogs, and they can start by grooming the dogs at the animal control facilities, etc.

And, we need to get fair trade deals, if other nations want us to buy their stuff, then they need to buy our stuff.

Salute,

Tony V.

I guess I could be wrong.  I'll await your 280 word or less research on the matter.

Quote
Not disorganized, it is inclusive. Why not spend a few months passing around the megaphone and spreading Democratic ideals for a wide variety of policies from border to border and sea to Sea?
Giving these candidates their space will make it easier for their supporters to move their energy to a smaller and smaller group of candidates.

Chance are these voters won’t become the “or Bust” Bernie bros or the idiots who literally pissed away their votes on Jill Stein.

Yes, I think the Dems are learning.  2016 was the classic putting your hand on a stove burner of hard-won knowledge.

I'm not necessarily against a friendly battle royale, just personally not up for digesting reams of information on everyone.  It is cool that candidates like Yang and Moulton are thinking about the coming robot apocalypse.  Yang especially.

This is what happens with the demise of party bosses and smoke-filled rooms.

Leo McGarry tried to do it that way - and instead the PEOPLE spoke - and we got President Matthew Santos.

Smoke filled room may very well have given you Hillary Clinton in 2008.

It's kind of fascinating how much stock you put in a tv show. Even one as good as that.

Guilt over Mary Jo?

Non-sequitur.

OK did some research, when and why did the democratic party become the defender of chain migration. Two words; Ted Kennedy. Guilt over Mary Jo?

https://www.numbersusa.com/content/nusablog/beckr/september-2-2009/te
That is six words, fool.

Family based migration works.

Four words.

Ted Kennedy is one word. So is Mary Jo.

He's still a fool, though, as word count wasn't the key element.

Yes.  Because "flyers" show how you handle pressure and time constraints, express yourself publicly and think on your feet.

As for resume's - I don't consider them while watching debates.
Time constraints? Thinking on your feet? What do you think a flyer is?

Missed his point.

He is suggesting that comparring the flyers to the debate is inappropriate.

Sure looks like open borders;

https://www.heritage.org/immigration/commentary/yes-there-crisis-the-border

1. In March, authorities apprehended 92,607 immigrants who entered the country illegally — the highest monthly total in more than a decade.

2. When they are stopped or caught, all are given court dates and then released into the U.S. Most fail to show up to their court hearings.

3. The really ugly news is that, despite knowing what the problems are and how to fix them, Congress has for years failed to act.

In Spain, it got so hot that manure spontaneously ignited, starting a 10,000 acre wildfire.

France set a record for heat --> 45.1 degrees Celsius (113.2 Fahrenheit)

If people are entering the country "illegally" and are being "apprehended" then the borders aren't "open".  You don't need a Harvard education to figure that out, but perhaps a class in logic.  But before I go any further, once again, I'll wait on Kid's stellar research skills (I'm sure Twitter will serve up the info) to see who's advocating open borders.

There is also drought in Iraq, though that has had an unexpected side effect:

https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/iraq-palace-drought-scli-intl/index.html

The Mittani Empire ran ~1500-1300 BCE. The palace had been noticed in 2003, but the water then did not drop enough to permit excavation. This one did, for a little while. Among other things, they pulled out 10 tablets with cuneiform that may permit a better understanding of this ancient and largely unknown civilization.

Bizarre is right.

I don't understand the significance of holding this vote, this excercise in futility.
