Another is a photo illustration of a smiling President Donald Trump forcing Ocasio-Cortez’s head toward his crotch. The agent who posted the image commented: “That’s right bitches. The masses have spoken and today democracy won.””

I wish that when President Trump suggests possible intervention it did not send chills of fear down my spine.

But it does.

And it should.

That he believes that homelessness did not become a real problem until two years ago is one of the reasons. The way his administration has dealt with the vulnerable in almost every other component of his administration is the other.

To me, expressing an opinion that ironically suggests that there's something Banana Republic -ish and puerile about the pageantry of tanks is not quite the same as hoping for a catastrophic crash of stunt pilots in a densely-populated urban area.  I hope I'm not making so fine a distinction that your rapier-sharp mind will be unable to grasp it.
