I think the “narrative” is that Trump cannot effectively run this nation into the ground.

It’s being disproved, sorry

Kid, you're not going to get everyone to do your research for you.  If people don't chase down all the facts for you, it doesn't indicate agreement with your vague assertion, or that those pesky facts don't exist.

When facts are presented to you, you ignore them, and seem to continue on as if they don't exist.  Why should anyone bother with you, given that intellectually dishonest sort of response from you?

From FTorn's Guardian article posted earlier....

Quote
Longtime Shea critic, and Republican, the Spokane county sheriff, Ozzie Knezovich, said in a telephone conversation that “it almost sounds like going back to the Hitler Youth concept”.

Knezovich added: “There are lines that should never crossed. When you indoctrinate children in radicalized hate, then we wonder why we have the kind of shootings and bombings that we have around the world.”

Imagine more Republicans like Knezovich calling their elected GOP reps out on this kind of thing.  Extra points if you don't pull a Flake and promptly resign after you've spoken your mind.

Yeah, those 25-30 workers will be ready to do the same work that 680 employees did before.

And yes, not all of the 680 worked at this plant, nor are they saying how many did --> but 3 plants, 680 workers. You figure it out!

Young people in Australia who are not drinking alcohol has risen 50% in the last 6 years.

President Trump has been setting a fine example in this regard.

What percentage of Australian youth do you suppose know Trump's drinking proclivities?

China has the whole world by the throat.
The world was warned, but wouldn't listen.
Look around...'everything' we buy is made in China.
China...an economic powerhouse.
China...buying up the world one farm, one house, one company, one country at a time.
The West...going broke fast.

The Chinese are coming, the Chinese are comiing! Chicken little was right!

If China didn't care what anybody else thought, they would have squashed the rebellion by now, ninny.

And as for the buying pattern:

People keep posting on Facebook that if people violate our laws by coming to America illegally, then they broke our laws, and so because they are lawbreakers then families should be separated and children should be put in cages, etc, and that we should not have any sympathy because they are lawbreakers. It is all bullshit.

In an nation of the people, by the people, for the people, it is we the people who make the laws, and we need to change the laws to reflect who we are as Americans. We do not need to go to the Queen of England to change our laws, we can do it ourselves. And we need to change our laws to make our immigrants legal, like President Reagan did. We need to make our immigrants legal so that they can come out of the shadows and so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so that they can join labor unions, etc. And we need to make it to where future immigrants can easily become legal, and stay legal, especially our good Christian neighbors from here in the Western Hemisphere.

I am against separating families, and I am against putting children in cages. And I support making our immigrants legal, like President Reagan did. We need to fix our broken immigration laws to reflect who we are as Americans.

And the most important law is the Golden Rule; to treat other people the same way that you wish to be treated. We also have the Bible, and in the New Testament God's commandment is for us to love our neighbors.

People also think that the immigrants are coming here for free welfare, etc, which is all bullshit, and ICE has been busting immigrants at their places of employment, processing food, etc, the immigrants are out there working hard to take care of their families, etc,  and the ICE agents are busting them at work, it is all a bunch of bullshit.

We need to fix our broken laws, and people who justify locking children in cages by saying "Their parents broke the law" make me sick. I wish we could take the immigrants, and kick out the haters.

Salute,

Tony V.

Heh

Fill in the blanks yourself.  What problem facing this nation has actually been effectively addressed?

GOP wants Trump to talk about the economy for 2020.  Hows that going?...https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/14/investing/dow-stock-market-today/index.html

Bottom line is if you aren't part of the top 0.1% that got a significant tax cut your life is no better under Trump than it was previously, and for a lot of Americans life has gotten measurably worse.

So you are left with "as long as Trump doesn't nuke anyone he is effectively running the country. " Right.

Meanwhile, pulling out of the Iran agreement, coddling North Korea by ending joint military exercises with South Korea, and effectively starting a new arms race with Russia all make the prospect of a Nuclear attack by someone more likely than they were before Trump took office.  So you are not even right there.

Every problem we had as a nation when Trump became president we still have. Some are much worse.

Truly hard to make an argument against this statement.  So hard in fact that Trump's most ardent supporter here won't even make the attempt.

That things are not even worse than they are is because in large part the people who work under Trump ignore his directives, or pull him away from the brink of doing incredibly stupid things (see China tariffs, for just one example from just yesterday)  Trump won't say it and probably doesn't see it, but John McCain saved any chance he had of winning the 2020 election by stopping him from throwing tens of millions of Americans off of their health insurance.

The country is running despite Trump, not because of him.
